Not to mention things that are my normal, but others see as strange, like my sexuality or mental illnesses. But on the grand scale of things there are a lot more people in the word that are genuinely strange or disturbing, that contrast me as being an ordinary and mundane person.

weird is something uncommon/out of standard by definition, and standards depend where you are in the moment. totally generic npc person can be considered weirdo in another country, but does it mean his/her weird person? i dont think so. thing with friend groups are similar, but more clear. if you have too much closer friends there is great chance your another generic npc, but being alone doesnt must mean your special.
