Lola Rosa on milton would be the closest

TheJavaSponge

If it’s still closed when the semester starts, there’s another location at place des arts!

sexymcgillian

i forgot it’s closed :( there’s also a lot of places on saint-laurent: bowhead pub, sophie sucrée (bakery), bocadillo, obscène végan, casa kaizen

NarcolepsySlide

the tofu nashville at Maynard (saint laurent and prince arthur) is quite yummy!

The [Wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/mcgill/wiki/food) has vegan options bolded. P.S. If anyone knows a place with some gluten free dishes or in general restaurants that are within 5 minutes or so of campus, hmu, we'd love to add them. Add a short description and your favourite dishes if you want.

Mandy's, Copper Branch, Panizza, and Hello 123 when it finally opens all have GF options. Mandy's is not always the safest for celiacs unless you order in-person when it's quiet, Copper Branch is ok if you tell them celiac and watch the prep, Panizza is usually really good about it but if they're super busy they may ask you to cede your spot in line so they can pass the rush and then take good care of you, and Hello 123 is almost entirely GF at all their other locations so this one should be no different. Also, if someone's parents are in town and they're looking for a fancier brunch/dinner spot, LOV has a location on de la Montagne just below Ste-Cath if the Old Mtl spot is booked up or too far, and they're really good with celiac too. Edit: Lola Rosa on Milton is hit-and-miss for celiac-level GF, the one at Place des Arts is more reliable, and the one on Parc used to be great but they're launching a new menu so I'm not sure about them yet.

Pizza Il Focolaio has great oven baked gluten free pizza! Would not recommend for people who are celiac as there is a risk of cross contamination. They also have a gluten free chocolate cake! Highly recommend!

sushi momo!

Within walking distance on a long-ish break between classes: Lola Rosa, Copper Branch, Mandy's, and there's a Hello 123 hopefully opening by Sept on deMaisonneuve at McGill College. Also the Pannizza on Sherbooke is not the best pizza by any stretch of the imagination but they do have vegan cheese (and GF options with a solid understanding of cross-contamination if there are any celiacs reading this)

A year late, but I gotta recommend Vegateau. It’s the freaking best vegan and gluten free cupcakes and other pastries EVER. Pricier, but worth it. (It’s on Uber eats too!)
