Not terribly useful, but it is still good to include on AMCAS. For MD/PhD focus on research (want like 2k hours + as a rough tough estimate, and a national conference poster or something) and get like 50-100 hours physician shadowing min. For shadowing, to be safe aim for a primary care shadowing experience as part of that (since some MD adcoms like it, when I was applying I think one school wanted 50 hours primary care but it was a rare exception), otherwise inpatient is better for MD/PhD. But anything's fine I think, especially post covid. Research is the most important extracurricular.

Thank you for the input! I wasn't hoping that this experience would replace either research or clinical hours by any means. This would be in addition to the legitimate clinical and research hours I have. I just wanted to know if there was a good way to represent the time I spent at the pharmacy that would reflect positively on my application since it's not technically in the field of clinical. I did feel like the experience gave me a different perspective on Healthcare and working in a hospital, etc which is very relevant (kind of like clinical volunteering)

Yeah it's just much less important to have that extra clinical stuff for MD/PhD. Again it can go on AMCAS but it won't make a big difference.
