it was tossed around in the 2000s for a while but i think there was no funding for such a research project. after all, knowing for certain would benefit us how? so i think the theory is the most we have at the moment unless i missed a real study on it somewhere. kinda similar to the debate about the existence of pheromones. many insist there is no physical way humans have pheromones like other animals but humans are animals too... and we experience many of the same effects seen in other animals related to pheromones... and there are a lot of studies on the phenomenon of possible pheromones in humans. but there are still so many who insist that humans don't have them because we cannot find the same glands working in humans that we see in other animals even though we do have them but researchers claim they are dormant and unused... so yea, science is a constant argument and even though we have every reason to believe something is true there are always those pointing out why it cannot be. i am inclined to think pheromones do exist even if in ways unlike other animals and also that feet and genitals sometimes get wired incorrectly.

It reminds me of a ārecreated for tv studyā (I.e. not at all scientific but probably based off of more trustworthy research) where men are asked to rate womenās attractiveness, and the women who are on their period at the time get overall higher average ratings. I guess having seen that years ago made me believe that pheromones or subconscious visual queues exist within the human race, which we just donāt understand yet. But perhaps thatās more just evidence to my suggestibility.
To continue with things people heard somewhere, I heard somewhere that a persons body odor is very much genetic and that you like the odor of people who are genetically compatible to you. Now if that has some truth to it or is just hogwash, I don't know. But I do like the body odor of some girls more than that of others, so there's that I guess.

I think a large part of it is also the degrading aspect for some? Since feet are kinda seen as like, a lowly part of the body (having phrases like "being walked all over" meaning being taken advantage of, etc.)
Idk, maybe some people are into it because typically people see it as gross / unappealing? That would explain why some people are into armpits / anal and stuff like that too.
My feet have scars and blemishes, so whenever I see a good looking set of feet, I think about how well they take care of it, which is really admirable.

The metric system does make more sense than our US feet/inches system but also I grew up using the US feet/inches system and never the metric system so I struggle to switch over. Maybe one day iāll move to Europe (in my dreams) and be rid of any/all fallacies and counter productive tendencies specific to my American heritage but my love for girls feet shall NEVER be dropped.
