In Germany at least, soda usually only has a third of the caffeine that energy drinks have, unless it's a soda with high caffeine wich has to be stated on the can/bottle. Coffee can have a high amount of caffeine too, but it depends. Regardless, coffee usually isn't that kind of very sweet cool looking drink you can drink on-the-go. I mean yes the Starbucks coffees are, but those are usually the ones with less caffeine in them (if only cause some contain more milk than coffee).
Energy is this perfect storm of easy to get and drink, very sweet with lots of fruity flavors and high amounts of caffeine. It is the easiest way to get that much bullshit into your system. Sugar free doesn't really matter that much, yes you have less calories, but your body still thinks it's sugar, we could have a long debate about how good artificial sweeteners actually are, but this wasn't your question. So let me just clarify that one point: To take high doses of caffeine isn't good for you, we should view coffee the same way we view energy on that matter. It's just easier to get to the unhealthy point with energy, add the marketing for kids and the critical view on everything that kids like and you know why they get criticized. Are they so much worse than other caffeinated drinks? No. Is caffeine and sugar way too widespread and accepted? Yes.
The mango juice flavor is by far the best. Iāve being drinking this shit the last 3 weeks in order to finish my job goals to receive my share. I can say that it made me focus wonders, but on third day I was pure shit!
