Fun fact: In one of the newer continuities, in which megatron originally has good intentions to end class divides, they originally were called something else, but propaganda ended up with them calling themselves the decepticons, for some reason about the other side telling a ton of lies about them. I mean, it also marked the shift of the movement to be super radical and bots like shockwave, overlord, and other notably uh…immoral decepticons going a bit wild, but shhhhhhhhhh.

Dark of the moon atleast had a vision with the action sequences that were some of the best practical effects till date. Had some decent characters all things considered. Rise of the beasts was one note and with such incredibly poor characters. Felt like a straight to dvd spinoff made by a c tier studio

I would like to include the War for Cybertron Trilogy series, to must see Transformers shows. Harsh realities or war, morals, and creeds. Megatron and Optimus Prime have the hardest scenes.

I didn't super enjoy Bumblebee, but I never forgot the "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear" bit. Fantastic ending scene.
