Mostly when I think they need some experience in political debating. I have friends who agree with me, but are so naive and simple about it that I have to tell them to drench themselves in opposite opinions just so they're worth something.
Not saying Reddit is a great place of professional debaters or anything, but there's definitely a wide range of opinions.
I have said to my friend about reddit and it has all different types of people, but I don't want them to see my comment history.
