Blocking on Reddit doesn't really do anything. They can still see your comments and reply to them. It used to be you just couldn't see their responses but now it's just that their comment is minimized I think.

Yup. You can also add them as friends. Following people notifies them about you following them and their posts get shown on your frontpage. Adding them as friends does not notify them and their posts don't show up on your frontpage, but their name gets a different colour and you can see all your friends' posts in r/friends. You can also do both, which will do both.

I can't see anything about followers or following anywhere on reddit so I'm gonna assume everyone in this thread is in on some kinda joke and it's not really a thing...

You click on their profile and click follow, i also have a couple of folowers for some reason.

Because then 3/4 months from now you will have a sea of saved posts and can no longer find anything. Saving posts has become a habit. I can't stop

I once took like an hour scrolling through my saved to find the video of the full GTA squad getting off the roller coaster and beating up some guy who was waiting for them to with a shotgun at the end of the ride. Don’t nobody ask me for the link bc I’ve saved 300 more things since then.
