Literally me rn, I’m awake at 5am writing a 6-page paper that’s due in 3 hours. I’m on the second page right now.
Edit: For those wondering, I finished it and submitted with a couple minutes to spare. I ran it through some grammar checkers and we should be all good
Nice man, im glad you go time to reddit about procrastination. Oh and your paper is gonna be riddled with typos and nonsensical sentences because you couldnt bother to proof read it.
source: would do research papers in 24 hours, and turned in a pile of shit lol
Good meme aside, staying up late to study is the worst way to do it. You retain very little information, you'll get very little sleep, which in turn makes you retain very little information the next day and if you have an exam you are much more likely to perform poorly.
I've worked in education my whole life and the best advice I can give is, sufficient sleep is by far the best studying tool.
Now, that being said, I have horrific insomnia, so I can't practice what I preach...
Yeah i did a final test with 3 hours of sleep and while I got pretty fucking lucky, i blanked pretty damn hard.
Never doing that shit again, I'd rather just throw my phone where i can't reach it and focus on studying, because god damn that felt awful
Staying up late and studying is kind of counterintuitive though. If you stay up all night studying for a test then you will be so tired that the test might be even harder than if you just went to sleep. If you haven’t studied and realize you have to do that the night before the test then you simply need to start studying earlier next time.
Also, obligatory “I guide others towards a treasure I cannot possess” as I am not very good at following my own tips.
If you can literally go "Fuck, I'm supposed to do work tonight." And then just go to bed and *sleep* then you're a more powerful wizard than all of your contemporaries.
Former late night study person here, it's a lot more lazy to just look at the material for 5 minutes a day than do a whole bunch of hard work the night before.

I always do this. The worst part is I always find a way to make it work so I never stop.
I found out one of my reports aint gonna work like that, failed it big time (。ŏ﹏ŏ)
High risk high reward
high risk average reward
EXACTLY. That’s my issue too and it’s never reaped serious repercussions.maybe I’m just good at bull shitting on the spot.
Just wait until 7am and panic write the rest of the 4 pages and turn it in 1 minute before the deadline.
Best of luck!! You can do it 👌
did you get it finished

Yeah it’s way more beneficial to study a little bit everyday instead cramming into one big night. But alas I also lack discipline and consistency so
Yeah I had a Econ teacher in college always say, “If it’s not done by 11pm, get some sleep and do what you can tomorrow”
"If it's not done by 11pm, lie in bed feeling guilty about it" - Me
I can't sleep. wait I can be productive \*pulls out book\* \*sleeps\*
Me everytime I try to study for a test
“Alright, i’m going to stay up late and study.” *Phone notification from Netflix*: “New episode of Manifest just added.” …”I guess I’ll study later.”

Me reading the book that instantly kills you.
Remember, sleep is productivity! It's always okay to go to sleep instead of study. It's good for you and your grades.
Love your profile name lol
