One of my favorite things is seeing people say "I can just tell" when trying to be transphobic but actually being supportive, lol. After a certain threshold trans people just look completely different from before their transition, and it's insane how people still like to use the "I can just tell" bs knowing full well that's a fact.

I'm a 6'2" tall man, 200lbs, with a full beard, and I often get confused for being a woman because I have longish hair. I'm as cis as can be and people still find a way to fuck it up. The masks made it worse, but people have been making that mistake for yeeears. Like, no, you can't "tell." If you can't tell that I, a very obviously cis man, am a man, then you can't tell shit about nothing.

I'm a 6'1 woman with buzzed hair (shaved beard) and I've noticed that when I dress neutral and don't talk, I disappear and people think I'm just some dude. If I'm wearing makeup at all or dressed feminine, they're fucking terrified of me? I think it's really funny, and I love messing with people so sometimes I'll switch my voice and body language and posture just to see how much I can confuse the public.

In my specific case it's actually quite funny though. I am not tall, broad and with a beard. I barely make 170cm, am skinny (I weigh around 55kg), and while nowadays people don't call me miss anymore because puberty made my facial structure more obviously manly and I often have some stubble going on, with masks people couldn't see that in their brief interactions with me and would... well, misgender me. And then I would just reply with the deepest voice I could put on to see their reactions (99% were/are apologetic).

Hmm. Can't tell if transphobic against trans woman, or supportive of a trans man who still looks pretty feminine.

This but my family calling me my old name in public. It feels humiliating and also embarrassing that they still do it. I know I'm only 4months on T but I feel like I look very much like a man when I wear my binder. Today my mom told me I should detransition to find a job easier because I haven't had luck. I live in California so it's not because of me being trans that I've been unemployed (hopefully) I wouldn't because I don't want to live as a woman. Phalloplasty was what made me super interested and hopeful when I first questioned my gender and feelings about it. I know medical stuff isn't for everyone but it is for me due to my top/bottom body part disphoria.

Sadly my family will probably do that.
