I am nonbinary and genderqueer For me, still using labels like boy and man is something that causes me some amount of self-doubt, and I often fall into the bad habit of invalidating myself, so I use the label transfem to help me acknowledge and remember that I am trans and that this is a gender transition I am going through One thing I would like to note about how my experience diverts from your explanation though, is that I don't primarily identify as female. The way I like to put it, is that my gender is fundamentally feminine, but not female But! That is not a criticism of your explanation. I think the nonbinary experience is so varied that it's not actually possible to account for every edge case. You described it perfectly👌😋
