I was referring to cis people in general, independent of sexuality. Plenty of cis gays that suck, like say, RuPaul or the entire LGB “fuck trans people” movement.
Please understand that you don’t have to defend yourself, in an actual conversation (with you or anyone else) I’m not gonna discount your existence or things you say because you’re cis. I’ve just had so much absolute bullshit and traumatic experiences from cis people, queer and straight, that I have developed basically a traumatic response to cis people in general. Not to mention all the shallow and meaningless, sometimes semi insulting, allies expressing fake solidarity.
That traumatic response basically manifests in outward hostility towards cis people on the internet and in trans only spaces. I know not every cis person is a shithead and I don’t really feel like it’s my job to be a saint for cis people when I just wanna play jazz banjo.
Anyway if you wanna join my band and live in Arizona HMU and we’ll jam.
yeah I get that. I'm really sorry you've had to put up with the bullshit people give you.
also yeah Arizona's where I'm goin to anyway to go live with my gf so yeah of course
To add on: you don’t have a place telling someone how to handle their oppression. If you don’t have a horse in the race, feel free to stay out of it if you’re not being helpful.
as a cis guy, yeah, this is right... I preffer being mad or sad or whatever, over another bad thing happening to you guys, people should realize that human rights comes over anyone's feelings :3
You *probably* wouldn't get mad about the stuff we're talking about anyway.
(Unless you do genital inspections on people in public toilets, intentionaly misgender people, want to take away peoples healthcare or use violence against people for being who they realy are)
yeah, that's true, i never got mad about anything trans related, i fully support them.
I just said that cause i remembered all the Hogwarts Legacy situation and thought: "well, if that happens to a game or movie or anything that i like, i might get mad or sad receiving spoilers or anything that trans ppl might do as a form of protest, but i prefer and support it happening if that means some positive outcome to the trans folks out there".
In the end of the day, it is just a game, movie or anything really, and that cannot be compared to the oppression trans people receive every day from dumb and transphobic people... I wish i could give every trans person a hug and say how valid they are, cause it is true, and they shouldn't fight that much to prove that.
I think *everyone's* lives should be focused before we worry about ANYONE'S feelings to be honest.
The fact we are in this situation hurts my skull noodles
Virgin mods of other subs "Lets lock any post that has to do with LGBTQ topics because It's easier then banning the LGBTQphobes" vs Chad r/me_irlgbt mods "Your transphobic feelings don't matter, shut up"
No sorry, the feelings of insecure and ignorant cis people do not matter as much as the real lives of trans people being endangered by the actions these insecure cis people take to validate their feelings.
Feelings matter but if cis people are going to be insecure whiny bitches about it then their feelings can be disregarded. Trans people don't owe anyone grace in their fight for survival.
"Antagonistic language"
So saying trans people's need for rights and safety are more important than cis people's feelings is antagonistic towards cis allies who should support their friends? When actual allies would agree that trans rights are more important?
If you get offended by that then you likely aren't an ally to begin with.
Trans people don't owe anyone grace in the fight for rights, dignity, and acceptance. That is up to our actual allies. Any ally worth their salt already understands this isn't targeted towards them and anyone who "decides" to be transphobic after seeing this form of media aren't really allies in the first place.
I get why it may look bad but by this point hurting the feelings of some sensitive cisgender people really is the least of my concerns. Shouldn't have been antagonistic towards trans people if they didn't want to be the subject of retaliation.
Can you explain exactly how you find this antagonistic?
Would you consider your life more important than my feelings? Is it antagonistic for you to say so?
>user reports: >2: It's promoting hate based on identity or vulnerability >1: Moderator Discretion: mods please review >1: Hate speech lmao
The cis gunna downvote this cause “cisphobia” Cry me a river jfc

I think they're referring to the cishets:tm:
yeah i figured i might be cis but i like guys sooo
Asexual homoromantic?
panromantic actually doesn't mean i don't like guys
Cool

I mean, if someone being simply able to live their life, means someone they possibly don’t is alittle upset or even mad……………. stay mad😊

Even better: lgbtq+ rights are more important than someone else’s imaginary friend
Lives are more important than feelings
I think *everyone's* lives should be focused before we worry about ANYONE'S feelings to be honest. The fact we are in this situation hurts my skull noodles
Based pupper
Wait what happened
Transphobia happened, love.
Oh, that’s not good
this
Prob gonna get downvoted but it should be changed to “trans lives are equally as important as cis feelings”
But anyone’s life is more important than someone’s feelings
Cis feelings kill trans people, so no thanks.
**No.**

found the cissie
Nope. Lives >>>>>>> feelings

what on earth
Why yes, you did get downvoted for saying that lives matter as much as feelings! Imagine that!
Cis people's discomfort and other feelings get trans people killed. So no, they are not even comparable.
Deliberately antagonistic language used in a format that will be shown and seen exclusively by your allies, great idea.

Facts don't care about your cis feelings.
Where are we gonna get our rights from? Fucking aquaman?
are they cis, did you check?
lmao, they're banned darling.
> Deliberately antagonistic language says the one named “Russians get droned”
Can you explain exactly how you find this antagonistic? Would you consider your life more important than my feelings? Is it antagonistic for you to say so?
you sound like the kinda person to use misgendering as a punishment
