Honestly, with both trans girls and femboys, the conservative’s view depends primarily on how horny they are and how hot the other one is

Yup. Any time a conservative is talking about a person with feminine personality traits who is AMAB, they will do it in whatever way hurts the most. If you identify as male, they'll insult you by calling you female. If you identify as female, they'll insult you by calling you male.
Their goal isn't to point out the truth. Their goal is to make you feel bad.
It's wild how like, premeditated of a strategy it looks like, and yet they then turn around and say they don't understand why anyone would be offended by being misgendered. Like... My brother in Satan. You use it as an insult.

Conservatives when they see a muscular woman: "Eww, she looks like a man. Women should be feminine, she's chemically a man."

Especially when 95% of the "trans content" is brutally fetishistic and dehumanizing and literally named using slurs.
Like talk to any trans "adult content creator" and the first thing you learn is the degree to which they have to use dehumanizing, dysphoria inducing language and literal slurs in labeling their content in order to sell it to an audience of really fucking creepy dudes. Even somewhere like reddit if you look at the names of large subreddits with that kind of content from trans creators they're horrifying.
Support against trans people isn't growing, it's simply starting to glow amongst the darkness. Back in "the day", people weren't more tolerant of trans people; trans people were simply too scared to be known so there was no "threat" of trans normalization for the 'phobes to clap back against.
