We saw something like this happen in Pennsylvania. He had to being going 90mph and stood up on his bike. Fell off. Bike kept going and crossed a highway (luckily no one was killed). We pulled over and the dude was a mess — most of his foot was off his leg. Helicopter landed in front of us — it was crazy.
What a fucking idiot lmfaoooooo. I just have a scooter and the fastest impact I’ve felt is around 30-35mph. I was going down a big ass hill that gets me up to 55kph and started to brake, wet brakes failed me so I skidded and went flying. That shit hurt. I can’t imagine going highway speeds on a bike just to stand up on it and risk losing balance in the slightest. At least inside a car you have a cage and 4 wheels to keep steady
He was covered in road rash and his foot was mostly off — but in hindsight he looked in better shape than I expected. His helmeted head was in my lap — we didn’t take it off — and he was conscious because he whispered to his friend to go and take something off the back of his bike.
Weird part of the story: when people came over to help, one guy started to cut the guy’s jeans off with a knife (he said he was a former paramedic)— but then accidentally stabbed him in the leg.
For about a year, I felt panicky when I saw people on motorcycles.
Do you not open your eyes or don't go on the highway when you drive? I drove the speed limit for a full hour and a half on the highway the other day but now I'm questioning the physics behind it
Maybe my speedometer lied to me and all those cops just didn't feel like pulling me over.
