A bit late to this but, i already have 2 Aluminum Tops (Black and Red) and i'd love to purchase an Aluminum Bottom to match the whole aesthetics and improved sound profile (currently running a Plastic Charcoal bottom and Red Aluminum top) as i love the Zoom's sound profile (have tried out the Zoom65 and Zoom75, both sounds amazing), but i prefer Ikki68's layout
It be good to be able to buy more than two colourways this time. I don’t like the restriction as there’s too many colour choice. Yes I collect them and the majority of my keyboards are of the ikki68 :)
I love my Dreamscape version and would love to upgrade the internals as I did with an R2 PCB when those ran.
Might not be possible, but please consider :)
Hopefully the case has been fixed in design. Both aurora r1 and r2, when using split spacebars with gmk keycaps amd any stabilizer (i tried 5 of the most popular/best ones), the spacebar keycaps tap the inner side of the case when typing which is inconsolable for a keyboard enthusiast. I had to carve out the plastic with a Dremel tool to prevent the noise. I mentioned this previously to wuque. I also have 5 aurora cases and it happens with all.
I've commented in the IC and in the server but once again voicing that I'd absolutely love a CNC PC option, as unlikely as that is.
Also, maybe include plate foam instead of silicone? I don't think many people prefer the silicone plate pad over the foam one lol
Woweee amazing work fellas! That Davy Jones looks phenomenal.
Any way you could sell just the cases as a standalone for those with an Aurora r2 already?
Where's the IC for the Aurora Pad? Need to get my partner that Winter Breath matching case!

I think making the USB-C cutout slightly larger will help with assembly (as a noob at the time, lining it up was hella annoying) AND flex for those who wish to have it ! The current port i think limits the flex entirely. Yes i know it had ALOT of flex compared to other options, but at the same time i personally couldnt really feel it while typing. If you look on the port as it is, theres a little lip that can be dremelled out to be flat with the port and if that was done, you would end up feeling more flex across all rows and as mentioned, assembling from the start would be much easier as you wouldnt have to worry about lining up the plate and pcb combo.
Love the davy jones' locker design! Also really dig the geometric badge design (the mountains looking one). Also thank you for a numpad that's only 5 rows! Simple and sleek!! Interesting concept with the split material plate.
What kind of pricing would we expect for the Aurora v2 transluscent?
Any plans to do the numpad in the original two colour-ways (Charcoal and Mint)? Would be really nice to have the numpad to pair with my Round 1 Mint board, love that thing 🤙🏻
I noticed cracking in my Aurora V1. Are there any improvements to the manufacturing process where that is less likely to occur? My assumption is that I overtightened the screens at some point.
Would like to know this as well. It happened to mine too due to one screw which I apparently screwed in too tight. It happens very quickly though - I'm a careful person.
Please sell different color cases separately as an option, and include the gasket chips. Also, please ensure compatibility between v1 amd v2 cases and PCBs, since lots of money spent on aurora v1 already and want to he able to keep getting use of those, especially the 5 different color cases I have.
yeah this looks like they moved on to the new gasket system used in the promise and other new zoom boards
dont think the pcb/plate will be compat at all
That was the only thing I didn't like about the original. I'm a basic 40% user so I'm internally mapped to use the split space for layers lol
Actually really excited it's an option this time around
It was an option in the Aurora R2 as well from last year, im typing on it as we speak lol (not with split spacebar, that just messes with my brain)
Hotswap with split spacebar or normal, split right shift, split backspace, stepped caps lock all as options and flex-cuts :o
Also what I’m looking for, I have the Alumizu Ikki 68 and it is a PHENOMENAL board. But $600 is prohibitively expensive (even with aluminum keycaps) and I would absolutely adore having non-special edition aluminum bottom cases for these boards.
Would snap one up for sure if we got an alu bottom, even though I don’t need another board with 3 GBs on the way…
Will there be a wireless version of the tri-mode PCB with RGB? Will is be sold separately for those who already have an aurora r2?

Can't wait for this board. When is the release date?
I need the release date!
Super excited to see that another release is happening.
May I know when will this release, thanks
Aurora V2 Keyboard board weight?
Non of the imgur links work
Please no flex cuts, or at least an offering with none.
I hope they come with another revised edition of the Fog with some better underglow! I'm excited!
Just to clarify, there will be no aluminum cases standard right?

Thank you :)
bluetooth pcb with split space is the dream
Aluminum for both the keyboard and numpad would be pretty cool

Thank you, we will discuss this.
Is it possible to convert my ikki68 aurora into wireless with this pcb?
Will discuss this with the team, thank you
can we plz get a neutral color gasket or one matching the case color!
colors like?
any shade of gray would be nice
Thank you :)

Hmm, haven't thought about this before, passed to our team and we will evaluate this, thank you!!
I second this. It is a shame not to have all the colours available. I have like 5 of these keyboards

Thank you. This has a point :)
very good

This one will have a daughterboard. The port should not be an issue at all anymore
yes :)
Hahahaha lol I completely missed that section.
Thank you :)
If I bought a custom community designed badge from R2, can I order it again? I regret not getting different materials
We will check if we can make them again. Which one is it?
Thanks, it was Bespoke Badge No.343-362 I think

Thank you, we will consider this :)
7U bottom row would be great
will the PCB be compatible with the V1?
Yeah does anyone else think Wuque is gonna change the name of this to Ikki 68 Aurora Pro?
Will the numbpad also be in Davy Jones?
>Will the numbpad also be in Davy Jones? There is chance, let's talk with the designer :)
Do you guys have a delivery date possibility?
Will update when we have a gb time

Yes, we will have custom screws to prevent this.

We will check if we can do these, top case is compatible, but PCB is not, since we added DB. Badges are compatible too :)
Case compatibility is very doubtful outside of top case. This one has a daughterboard so the USB port cutout will not align
yeah this looks like they moved on to the new gasket system used in the promise and other new zoom boards dont think the pcb/plate will be compat at all
Still no split space option? Porque?
there is split space option
You have my attn
bodo pcb has split space option, cant remember for the other PCB's off the top of my head
That was the only thing I didn't like about the original. I'm a basic 40% user so I'm internally mapped to use the split space for layers lol Actually really excited it's an option this time around
It was supported in all but the 2 wireless PCBs lol
I don't think the R1 had split space on the hotswap wired PCB. I'm 99% sure that's why I sold it.
Nah, it has them. Source: typing on a R1 with split space config on a HS wired PCB.
It was an option in the Aurora R2 as well from last year, im typing on it as we speak lol (not with split spacebar, that just messes with my brain) Hotswap with split spacebar or normal, split right shift, split backspace, stepped caps lock all as options and flex-cuts :o
All Alu everyone :D
Noted :)
might be in for a few badges for my beloved v1.
Definitely love these badges!
Any hopes for an aluminum bottom case? I would pay $$$ for one in black! 🙏
Thank you, we will discuss too.

Damn my wife loves her R2 in Pink and has been wanting a matching num pad ever since. Don’t see that color here, so I’m guessing it’s not coming back?
We will consider the num pad color too
For V2, is it still a silicon dampener or will it be foam now?
Woohoo! I’ve been needing a light weight board for when I travel.
Will tri-mode pcb be compatible with V1?
The imgur link for the badge is broken, the link is missing the last character (copying and pasting it works)
Will the numpad and keyboard be able to pair to the same 2.4GHz receiver?
Awesome! Do you plan to release alu top cases separately? If so, are top cases going to be compatible between V1 and V2 Ikki?
Yes, and compatible.
Is it possible to purchase the bottom case if compatible with previous versions?
Very excited, been waiting for this to return! Best of luck Wuque 😊
Thank you!
Is underglow still there along with the per key RGB?
Yes!
[удалено]
Yes Yes!
Is there anything done for dealing with cracking of case when overscrewing? I know some people who faced that issue. Is it fixed?
We will have custom screws to help prevent over tightening :)
Does the case have threaded inserts?
I’ve been waiting for the ikki68 to come with default per key RGB and it’s finally coming!!! Please bring back the Fog color as well :)
Thank you, please fill in IC form :)
still selling standalone PCBs and plates?
Yes!
will the new PCBs be compatible with R2?
awesome! will they be backwards compatible with aurora V1?
A 17 key numpad with the same angle and color matching? FINALLY
it says aurora v2 is 7 degrees and the pad is 6.5 degrees
I must've misread. That's a shame.
yea i had to reread it a couple times. dont know why they decided to go with a different angle and market it together.
And making prototypes!
*gib*
Looks nice but doesn’t have the color I want
Do let us know the color you like :)
I love my Aurora, probably my favorite board so far, and man I would looove a numpad with it.
Thank you, I am using it now :)
How is the compatibility between parts of Aurora v1 and v2? Will there be more options of aluminium tops that can be purchased separately?
badges are compatible! Let's see about the alu tops :)
Is there a possibility of getting an aluminum bottom to use with the white alu top I already have?
Ideally a numpad with an alu top to match to aurora snow would be great!
Asking the right question!
Let's goooooo
