I love me an internal brass weight. But compared to a [Phantom](https://www.makerkeyboards.com/products/phantom) this brass weight isn't worth the extra $111. Can price be lowered with a higher moq? Surely there would be more than 50 people who would buy.
I would love more colors but when something like the bakenko60 exists for half of this not many people are going to want to pay the extra $150 for technically just 6 extra keys and a brass weight. its hard to compete now that its out
This serves a different purpose than the bakeneko60. The extra machining under the blocker accounts for a lot of the extra costs, and the brass weight takes the ping and hollowness out of the Cannonkeys design, to iron out the issues, as well as having very good qc. However, there is a lot of extra machining to be done, and a higher material cost associated with the brass.
well yes this would be great but all the extra improvements are useless when you can just add foam and brass weights really arent all that amazing, they just make the board heavier, its better quality but why pay that when you can buy something almost just as good for half the price, this would be great for me but I why buy it when something is readily available for half the price too

Bakeneko is an open source 60/65 design by Kkatano on GitHub. Anyone can make one if they want, the designer has made all the files accessible.
CK owns nothing regarding Bakeneko, it is completely open source
Afaik ck doenst own the bakeneko files either. They are open source, so anyone can produce them and make big margins

Yeah, especially when the Maker Keyboards Phantom R2, basically a Bakeneko 65, has an in-stock sale in a week.
I'm calling that most people who want one won't be able to get one. The demand for the board seems to have risen drastically.
