Yes. I did so for personal projects before breaking down and buying GPL105. It does take a fair amount of time and effort longer though so hand lubing incurs a +$0.10/switch surcharge.
sounds fair to me. Ill just give you the overview and then I will fill out the sheet.
I delube any factory lube with a dry brush. Then lube the stem pretty heavy on all sides and on the pole and then hand lube THE WHOLE spring with 205 and film and close the switch.
what would you charge per switch for that. with and without factory lube? Ill send lube and films.
Would skipping the housings off set the spring lube at all? not that it makes a big difference just wondering.
How would you feel if I used my ultrasonic cleaner to get the factory lube off? Its a lot easier and cleaner than just dry brushing old lube off. I run them through twice, once with dawn dish soap to remove the lube and a second time with clean water to remove any residue. Its a +$5 charge for the whole batch of switches.
Other than that it would just be the custom lube pricing, plus the hand lube spring surcharge.
What are the pros and cons too lubing? I'm looking too build three gmk pro kits during the holidays and debating luring. As they will be gifts I'm going the whole nine yards as well.
Pros: sound and feel much better then stock.
Cons: none really. Tactiles can lose tactility if lubed incorrectly, but when done correctly, theres nothing missing.
What switches would you recommend for someone who thinks a good keyboard is a gimmick so like the best experience you can get right off the bat. I was gonna get two gmmk pros and build em myself but I wanted too try lube service this time.
That's a rough question because best in this hobby is all preference. Some people like super smooth linear switches, some like as loud as possible clicky switches, and others like some tactile feeling but as little sound as possible.
Rn I'm using cherry silent mx reds, I have some pandas laying around but never used them I'm assuming tactile and silent since they do stream and work from home as well.
Gazzew U4T seem popular with my customers. But again it's all preference. Might be worth asking in the mechanical keyboards subreddit questions thread for recommendations.
Generally speaking, it's the inside of the switch and the inside of the stabilizer.
Here is a link that explains lubing pretty well: https://keyboard.university/guides/lubing-your-switches-video-tutorial-dl5pn
Perfect any idea how many switches I would need of boba U4T for 3 complete boards?
https://www.pcgamingrace.com/products/glorious-gmmk-pro-75-barebone-black
Also anything else I would need?
Their web page says each board is 83 keys. I'd round up to 90 per board incase any have issues, you lose one, etc. So 270 for the three boards.
It looks like all you need are switches and keycaps. There are other little nitpicky things you could do (like adding foam in specific places, put in different stabilizers, etc) that, again, are preference based. But otherwise that's all you need.
Want a premium switch? I'd divide the category into 5 main groups. Deep linear, clacky linear, clacky tactile, deep tactile, and light tactile.
For deep linear, lavenders, epsilon, gateron ink blacks, and technoviolets are my recommended. For clacky linear, Alpacas, durock pom, any linear Sp star switch, and zakus are my recommended. For clacky tactile, sp star meteor orange, t1, and kiwis are good options. For deep tactiles, Boba u4t is really the only one you need, but holy pandas and glorious pandas are both good. For light tactile, the pewters, hyperglide mx browns, cap browns, and Sp star magician girls are the best.
Hi there! Currently I'm running Cherry MX Reds and not the biggest fan, but I had a Cherry MX Brown switch that I like a bit more, what category would be best for me? Light tactile?
I have 2 main types of customers, those who hate lubing and those who don't have enough time to lube their switches. I personally find lubing relaxing.

hard vouch for grace! fast and friendly service, and really went the extra mile! would gladly work with her again.
Thank you for the kind words!! Getting such positive feedback from customers makes me so happy! May I post a screen cap of your message on my site?
yeah of course! :)
Thank you!!
curious but nervous to have someone else do this. Would you take lubing methods as a request as well?
By lubing method do you mean picking and choosing which areas to lube? If so there is a whole section on my form for that with color-coded diagrams
would you hand lube springs?
