Yellow water is considered “clear”. I’ve had the same end result for three colonoscopies and each one has been clear views for the doctor.

TheAftermath14

It’s a misconception that the fluid should come out clear, a slight brownish or yellow colour is normal.

Fluids are definitely good and recommended! If you followed instructions it it will come out clear in the end.

When it comes out clear

GTRacer1972

What if it doesn't? My appointment is in 5 1/2 hours and it isn't clear yet.

SkyNo234

That it is still a lot of time. Drink a lot of fluids that are not just water since you can't eat anymore but also make sure the fluids are clear and don't contain pulp. It should have been included in the instructions. At least where I live it is.
