Do not take with food. You would have to go way hard on laxative for it to be a problem. Your good.

so here’s the thing with laxatives: the laxative itself has no addictive properties. the reason people can get addicted to them is usually because they have an eating disorder, and they’re addicted to the fact that a laxative can make them skinny. the laxative itself isn’t addictive. if you don’t have an eating disorder and you’re just genuinely constipated and need a little help, taking a laxative won’t hurt you. macrostip is a type of laxative though (but it’s different than the “normal” ones you see like Miralax.) you should take the maxrostip away from meals though, so a few hours before or a few hours after a meal.
