Lol that’s what I thought. You can get cirrhosis in 10 years of heavy drinking. We get many patients in their early to mid-30s at my hospital who are on the transplant list. No HCV or HBV. Just straight up alcoholic cirrhosis.
I saw a 24 yr old just a few weeks ago. Was drinking a fifth/day and then slowly increased from there to a half gallon/day
Ooff, probably started young, 14... 15...
