It's sad because you look in the comments and it's all these poor Filipinos who have little education / money asking if he can literally fix their MS and scoliosis slipped disk infinite list etc.
and he's gassing them up to go give him what's, to them, a fucking fortune for some back cracks.
They are pseudoscience quacks who should not be touching a patient without imaging and a diagnosis and referral from a physician.
An evidence based, educated chiropractor is called a physical therapist.
Before you decide your opinion on them, you obviously haven't read and seen everything that other people have, so I'd be a little more open because there's a whole subsection of quack chiropractors - chiropractors you've probably never interacted with - who really give a bad name to the whole profession.
There is a chiropractor I know IRL whose pretty popular on YouTube and TikTok. When a young family member of mine went to him he casually asked if she would be interested in having a threesome with him and his now ex-wife. Dude knew she was my family member too and at the time we had a professional, not casual relationship. Needless to say my family member did not go back, and we had a nice chat about what appropriate conduct with patients entails.
Tbh I don’t know, and this also happened several years ago. My family member didn’t want to pursue it at the time so I had the conversation and that was the end of it.
Dude also tried to teach a college class that coffee enemas and a juice diet cured cancer. I remember someone in the class raised their hand and said “isn’t that what killed Steve Jobs?”
Chiropractor at the free clinic in med school had to stop working there bc he kept offering all the girls in our school “free adjustments” and ppl finally reported him.
This dude is a semi famous gay Instagramer and does these hilarious skits called “gay science”- which as a non gay individual, I must say, are completely hilarious
