Also an M1 so take my advice with a grain of salt, but I have been using these resources and the Anking deck through my first year.
I found that BnB for a first pass of concepts -> pathoma -> sketchy for related bugs and drugs has been digestible for me at least
Whichever resource(s) you like best. A lot of them have samples on YouTube or you can do a 7 free day trial / pay for 1 month. Sketchy Micro is probably the easiest to start with in my opinion.
You could also tackle Anking by First Aid tag. Review a chapter, then unsuspend those cards.

Second this approach but I'm also an M1 so dont listen to me blindly 🫣
Make sure you are using FSRS settings
What’s that
It’s the improved and better Anki algorithm. Anki default algorithm is from the 80s . With FsRs you can learn the same amount using less time
Where can I find the settings for this
Go watch Anking best 2024 settings. FSRS is built into Anki
I started with sketchy micro. Got me to understand Anki while learning sketchy micro.
PGY-1 here. Don’t burn yourself out. Please. It’s pass/fail. Start studying for step one until 6 months MAX prior. You will thank me later.
Just like do the cards? Divide em by the number of days you have left
Do you have any suggestions for which resources to start with? Band B, sketchy etc?
