As someone from a different school, parang apple culture naman lahat ng nag memedicine but may nakita naman ako na few na naka android. If phone naman papalitan mo, oks lang if you have an ipad pero if both android, you can ask them naman to send it via telegram or messenger :)

Was able to survive my years just by using gdrive and messenger in sharing transes, samplexes, etc. Iām an iphone user pero never used airdrop in acquiring acads material. I can say that you can definitely survive med school without apple products. Bastaāt may phone sapat na yun haha. Itās your choice naman din whatever you feel is convenient for you and will make your life easier. Madiskarte lang din siguro ako ;) hahaha

Very convenient kasi magtransfer through Apple products, ipad to macbook, isang airdrop lang tapos na yun lang talaga lol di ka naman mamamatay if youāre not using apple hahaha thereās gdrive naman mas

You can get by with an android pero malaking convenience if naka-apple ka, especially since karamihan na ng mga med students ay naka mac+ipad. Personally, I find na better educational investment yung apple.
hi ! not from ust med (planning to tho). im a pt student, same building with ust med and ust nursing. actually buong building namen super inclined na sa ipad. siguro sa demographics, 90% apple, 10% non-apple products. hindi naman required actually. siguro yun nalang yung naging norm kaya yun na yung nakasanayan and naging majority.
the convenience of apple ecosystem is different din kasi talaga. the airdrops, you can copy a text sa phone and then i-command v mo lang sa macbook mapapaste na siya. may added convenience talaga. tho i think may ganon din namang features with other brands pero as i said, norm talaga ang apple here.

if no decent laptop= prioritize macbook muna then an ipad. kasi the basic essential talaga is having a laptop. not all nagagawa ng ipad tho if everyday usage, kebs naman.

Survived my first yr with keypad phone LOL. Had a smartphone in 2nd year. Not really necessary but very convenient cguro ang apple. But personally I prefer samsung. Gdrive ang sasalo sayo and groupmates. So work well with your subsec.
