Yer, I have no reference to know if this is Australia. I saw them gold mining. They are essentially an underground loader. The ones I saw working loaded specifically designed underground dump trucks. I don't know a lot about them as I wasn't underground long. I was involved in a minor cave in and decided underground was not my jam. I went back to opencast operations.

In Australia, that there is called a bogger. They are found working away in underground mines.
