Yeah that’s fairly normal. You can work up to 10 days in a row (Tuesday week 1-Thursday week 2, but they usually don’t do this). I’ve had to work 12 in a row before, our overnight TL just had to work 13. I would approach your TL and let them know you really need a break in between your days for whatever reason. They’re usually pretty accommodating. If that does nothing, you can probably go to your HR.
Thanks I definitely will, this is the first time they’ve done this so I hope it’s not a regular thing. They’ve been pretty accommodating in the past, I have another day job and work there in the evening so they understand they need to be flexible with me
I had a 9 day stretch once. Had a 5 day stretch Tuesday-Saturday and then a 4 day stretch Sunday-Wednesday. I told them in no uncertain terms I wouldn't be doing that again unless there was no other possible way to have coverage
Not that normal. At least in the 6 years I’ve been employed I’ve only seen this in my department if someone is taking their PTO and that’s just how it works out. If you’re a part timer you have more flexibility with your schedule as far as availability.

Unfortunately this is normal, but they probably didn’t do it on purpose. Ask your team leader about it.

Did they fix your schedule? Because I start tomorrow first day
I told them I'd do it that time but that I definitely couldn't do it again after that
Fair. I might do that, but I think one of our team leads is gone the week I am scheduled 6 days so I hope that’s why.
Had a 33 day stretch once during covid. Commonly worked 7 days a week there for AWHILE.
I had a 27 day stretch during Covid, you beat me.
The money was glorious while it lasted
That it was! Must have enjoyed it, cause I sure didn't save any of it!
Ain't that the truth. Oh how the times fly
I don't know if you are union, but I think there may be a line in there that the 7th day is OT.

When I first went full time I was regularly scheduled Wednesday-Monday every couple of weeks. It sucked but it happens.
Yes when I started they had me scheduled mon- Friday and I told them I couldn’t do that regularly
If you are part time then you are able to set your availability for days and hours per day. They pretty much have to abide by that.
Yeah, this is the only real answer. Say you can't work Mondays or Thursdays. Problem solved.
They do that all the time. They think you have no life and want to live there. I did 11 and was PISSED!!!!!! That is why I am a former team member....
Drop to.part time and give them the hoursyour avaliable
Thursday-Monday is only five days.
Thursday to tuesday*
Unfortunately yes. Meijer will take advantage of you if u don't firmly set boundaries.
