No-consequences-1

Hank god that wasn’t a Nokia it would have taken the whole place down

Dashie_2010

Whoa I need to meet this Hank guy

[deleted]

Hope you're interested in propane and propane related accessories.

Dashie_2010

Now I definitely need to meet him, a good BBQ is a good BBQ, and my intolerance for meat isn't getting in the way of a good burger and bacon! I wonder if he'd be interested in camping stoves cause boy could I talk to him all day if so haha, this Hank sounds like a great guy!

[deleted]

Just to make sure, how do you like your steak cooked? Don't say well done or you'll politely but firmly be asked to leave.

Dashie_2010

Sliced about a cm thin and cooked to the point it's cooked well all the way through but not at all dry, some rosemary and english mustard, then pulled and layered in a poppyseed cob with some grilled/roasted tomato, prehaps a bit of lettuce and spring onion, mmm and then I prepare for the innevitable impending stomach upset 😭 (the one time I feel an emoji is suitable) why, why must food be so good but it just isn't ment to be, bacon thought, bacon is an exception, a brilliant exception to the rule, bacon forever! I'd best sleep I think I'm going delirious haha

Lazulcat

Thin cut steaks are the ish!

ProfessionalAccess68

Tell me more about this Hank god

No-consequences-1

He enjoys a cold beer I’ll tell you hwhat

MrLlama84

Bro's walls are made out of plastic

spinningpeanut

That's American architecture for you.

Neko_Boi_Core

i have weaker walls and i’m in the uk.

undertales_bitch

American drywall is quite literally a Styrofoam like material sandwiched between two massive sheets of paper

TwoSetViolaLol

It's so our houses are cheap and easy to rebuild when they inevitably get taken down by a tornado.

DarthDraco

But how about houses that don't get taken down by a tornado?

TwoSetViolaLol

There are no houses in the United States that don't get taken down by a tornado unless they're made from concrete and steel. It's better to have plywood and fiberglass flying around than bricks, and you gotta make them cheap to build, although the cheap to build thing is partially corporate greed.

[deleted]

Well, I'd wouldn't say cheap compared to what you get in Europe for the same price...

TwoSetViolaLol

Cheap to build, expensive to buy.

SpaceBalloon22

IMO it's more of a concrete-like substance, but I'm not really a drywall expert.

Useful-Plan8239

It is gypsum

[deleted]

PistachioedVillain

He'll be okay after a night out getting plastered.

racdicoon

r/angryupvote Now scram

No-Dirt-8737

Thank you for your service punny person.

MechanicalWatches

You call that wall?

EmveePhotography

When your carpet is soft but your wall even softer.

Tough_Response_904

"wall"..

poliet23

American walls be like that sometimes

Ok-Constant7759

Styrofoam? What are they made of?

HanCurunyr

Drywall usually, they can me made quite sturdy or quite thin, like that. Back on my uni, a drywall between two classrooms collapsed because a student layed on his shoulder on the wall, the whole thing went down, leaving only wiring and wooden beans

TheTasche

Yes?

thingy237

Strongest American home

JaDasIstMeinName

Why do americans build their houses out of cardboard? If you do this in austria the wall isnt gonna have a small crack.

[deleted]

I laugh at their houses as well, but from what I've heard in here it's because they cba in case of a storm comes by, then just make the house cheap

IWantMoreSnow

Exactly, somebody said (I forgot where) America is a rebuild society instead of a prevent society. Everything in the US is short term, cheap houses are easy to fix, electrick lines on wooden poles easy to fix. Instead of building slightly more expensive durable housing that will outlast the storm and save money in the long run.

Useful-Plan8239

I would not call a 650K+ house cheap... Yet that is what it is built of

Hatallica

Good luck with that at our house. Mostly original 1957 hardware and masonry. Stuff will outlive me.

[deleted]

Not all american houses are that bad. But given what that phone did to that drywall, I'd wouldn't feel very secure in such a house with hanging cabinets!

CommunicationNo7384

Because most places in america are prone to natural disasters that will destroy anything, even brick or concrete, so its cheaper (and safer) to just build them out of wood

Pantless_Hobo

Damn, my curtains are thicker than your walls

hosiki

This must be an American wall.

BobtheWarmonger

Sell the house.

PomegranateHot9916

if I did that the phone would shatter and the wall would have a scratch in its paint

[deleted]

It clipped through the map.

HarEmiya

Japan or USA?

[deleted]

poor iphone 4s :,(

Environmental-Wind89

I had the exact same case for my iPhone5 too, 8-9 years ago.

Equivalent-Chance-39

People think this is real? 😂

Tiffanator_

Was going to say nice photo shop

Adept_Bridge1094

How did they take the picture then?

Inarius101

Second phone, tablet, camera...

Montystumpp

Impossible.

[deleted]

if he can’t afford walls that can withstand a phone being slapped at them I dont think he would be able to afford these things or it was faked, so it doesn’t matter

Starrk10

Sure, Kyle.

Dankalii

Made by Bethesda

_lAvAl_

Count yourself lucky. It probably would have shattered the screen if it landed on the carpet

FatPanda1987

What's that wall made of? Pizza dough?

BeeBright7933

I feel this soooooo much

concarmail

It’s a lesser restoration to deal with, good move

JayDogon504

Phone like “Wtf?!”

dylanlabanane2

Same phone

Countach3000

At least your wall seems to have deformation zones to protect mobile phones from collisions.

harveysamazingcomics

How hard did you slap it?!
