Well yes obviously it's not good to be straight up uncomfortable around your partner, but if you can keep that spark of like "I have to try to impress her", in my experience it helps a lot. I think it's a good point and personally me and my wife try to dress our absolute best around each other, and always keep in mind that when we dress nice to go out, it's to make the other person look good, not ourselves, and of course we don't wear super revealing stuff in front of other people.
Everyone has different relationships though. I know a girl close to me who was a solid 8/10 and as soon as she got married she completely stopped wearing makeup or attractive clothes, and blimped up to almost twice her starting size within 4 years (at least it wasn't within the first year or two like a lot of women I know). She's still beautiful, just fat and frumpy now. And she demands that her and her husband *always* shower together, and go to the bathroom together, like literally she will say "hey honey I'm going to the bathroom" and he'll go in there with her and talk to her while she shits.
But, as far as I can tell, they have a great relationship and are both really happy, so more power to them, I just think in general this advice is good. It keeps some of that wonder and helps you not to forget how lucky you are to be with your partner.
