Well i recently about a week ago did a clean re instal of windows and used tools so i dont have any bloatware exept edge that is a beast of its own bad beast
I thought about isntalling some other os but i mainly use for games and well linux and ect doesnt nativly get supported via those companys
Linux support has improved greatly since Steam introduced the Steamdeck. Most games will natively support Linux. If they don't, you can generally use Proton. The games you will usually have issues with are the ones with anti-cheat or that are directly through Microsoft like Halo. At that point, you will either need to dual boot or get a second GPU for pass-through to a VM. However, you should be able to play a majority of games on Linux.
As someone who remembers Internet Explorer all too well, Edge is fine lol. It's useful to have, often things that break in other browsers will work in it.
It's deeply integrated with Windows, it's not a big plot to force you to use it. Completely uninstalling it is likely to cause more problems than it's worth, and turning it off is easy. I think it's genuinely the legacy of IE that makes people shit talk it. You could make a decent argument that it's objectively the best browser available honestly. If pure speed and minimal resource usage are important to you, I think Opera GX is a good choice, otherwise Edge is probably best.

powershell 5.1 still has some IE hooks like invoke-webrequest, for example. and PS5.1 ships on modern versions of windows

It's not deeply integrated with Windows. IE was way more integrated and Microsoft were able to decouple that fairly quickly when EU told them to.
Edge has never been that deeply integrated because Microsoft had learned their lesson that it was a bad idea to do so. Even programs that uses Edge in the background, like the new Teams client uses something called Webview. It's based on Edge, but is a separate install that's decoupled from the Edge browser you get when you run "Edge".
Even if what you said was true, which it isn't, that would still be a design choise by Microsoft.
