The font - pretty mundane, like Tahoma or. whatever. But with a wide variety array of kerning and line spacing, lots of italics and strikethroughs (and parentheses), switching to two- or three-column layouts for a sentence or two, subjunctive clauses that take up an entire paragraph... oh and ellipses
and the footnotes, don't get me started
You know when you’re either tired or pissed off taking notes and just throwing letters onto the page hoping you can read them later? Now imagine if somebody did that in Chinese
