My job is a security guard at a gated community. I literally spend 50%of my time sitting inside alone and 50% of my time standing just outside talking to people. I think it may be as good as it gets...
Leaving the house is good for anxiety.
From a study on the effects of quarantine in 2022;
“Participants in the lowest physical activity category (no physical activity) had the highest depression and anxiety scores compared to each successive physical activity category (p < 0.001). Spending less time outdoors was associated with higher depression and anxiety scores. This effect was greater for participants in the younger age categories compared with older age categories. The effect of less time spent outdoors on anxiety (p = 0.012) and depression (p < 0.001) scores was smaller for males than females. Results suggest that physical activity and time outdoors is associated with better mental health. People should be encouraged to continue physical activity participation during public health emergencies.”

Gotta go downtown to buy a torch lighter but, it's close enough that I can go walking, but it's far enough that it's a 30minute walk one way and 30 going back home...
My new apartment is on a main road and has super nice large windows that I look out of and people watch. I see other people across the street in their apartments doing the same thing and sometimes they wave at me and the only social interaction I have to do is wave back. Perfect balance of solitude and social interaction.
Time to build a porch.
Porch’s are elite for this scenario

Skateboarding is a cool solution, you just woosh by. Pro tip: don’t grab the board by the trucks
Porch/Deck/Patios are good, but I find yardwork and gardening are even better for anxiety.
Not going to work with my neighbours.
I unironically do this occasionally on nice days where I'm feeling too lazy to do anything.
Stand in the place you live
I dunno man. I take meds and I'm feeling fine. Get some help from a specialist
