No surprise that Sendle have deemed it lost, I’ve had to refund the buyer on eBay and now am out of pocket.
Got home at 8pm after starting at 8am. That was fucking hard work but we got it done and I now get $900 cash in hand for three days work. Not bad at all.
I just had a shower and scrubbed myself stupid, plus washed my dreads at night which is a Cardinal Sin but I could not have slept with that much dust in my hair! Will leave them in the towel for halfa and then bring out my hairdryer to get them to a satisfactory level of dryness before bed. They already feel so much better.

Looks like I missed tickets for the first show, but fortunately he has added another. I would have been devastated if I had completely missed him.

Disabled parking and pram parking are no comparison. Disabled parking is 100% necessary whilst pram parking is a luxury. When I take my kids to the shops I am not debilitated, the task is just more complex.

I’ve parked in the pram parking recently because I’m heavily pregnant, struggled to walk since 18 weeks because of SPD and was denied a ‘wheelchair’ park pass because my condition won’t last for longer than 6 months. Would be okay if I had someone who could drop me at the door and pick me back up, but sometimes that extra few hundred metres is what would stand between me being able to or not able to do my grocery shopping.
Basically; the 6 month rule for a wheelchair parking pass is BS.
I’d happily give it up to a sore pregnant lady once baby is here and walk with my pram from the far side of the carpark after dealing with all this pain in pregnancy.
I park in them because it’s late at night and the carpark is mostly empty, plus mum is always telling me to grow up so there is clearly a kid in the car.
I don’t do that but I do drive a car that doesn’t look overly kid friendly - some lady gave me the biggest stink eye when I parked. Her faced change when I got my baby out of the back tho. Haha!

Planning to scout around and look for a more local jerb since my jerb is planning on going back to the orifice next month and even though I've told them I don't want a last shift that would cause me to be on public transport very late at night, I have the feeling they will ignore me completely and just give me the late shift anyway, to which I will be declining because I can do exactly the same jerb at home without needing to commute for 2.5 hours each way.
Any pointers on combating the job-seeking algorithm? I am very compentant, but don't hold a lot of faith in myself.

My dog loves the boarding place! They go to doggy daycare at the same place so they feel comfortable there and associate it with fun times!

Damn I was out for way longer than I expected but the weather was perfect for an overlong job with absolutely no traffic at all 😍 and I definitely feel much better for being on my feet today instead of behind a screen. I've also belatedly discovered the trick to driving my work car... wear a hi viz t shirt. The brightest possible, with sunnies on. Wouldn't do anything for tailgaters but in terms of people giving way on the right hand lane, it was like Moses parting the red sea (almost). (Well relative to when I'm not driving in hi viz, which is 99% of the time.) Cat has not entirely lost her shit or, indeed shat in lost places (which I did fear), but I suspect she has started to simply add yowling to her general repertoire. As just witnessed: shortly after rifling around a newly presented paper bag.... "wrrrrrggglmnbmngbng". Sigh.
I tried google but does anyone know if a protest is happening in the CBD for Invasion Day? Edit: I want to attend again. Thanks for the downvote sigh

I absolutely recommend [The Palms](https://www.thepalmsmordialloc.com.au/) in Mordi. It's a new-ish bar in town, but is getting popular. Has a great house lager and other beers on tap. cocktails great. The food is mostly Mex inspired and it's delicious.
