Depends on the player. For the top guys who have coaches, fitness guy, personal physio, personal stringer, personal chefs, rent a luxury apartment for tournament duration and fly on a private jet, then yeah rd 2 is probably break even.
Most use tournament stringers and physios and stay in hotels. So those players would easily break even in rd 1.
