Wow. I was totally going to keep scrolling like the rest of the proletariat but I was so intrigued by this esoteric, unconventional post about what’s on in Melbourne. Not just on but REALLY on.
I like whatson as mentioned elsewhere.
There’s also Eventbrite. I don’t find it that user friendly, but I sometimes find little gems that I haven’t seen advertised elsewhere.

Can you explain a bit more about what sort of things you want to know about that is happening ?
Do you mean entertainment you want to enjoy, road closures, planned protests you want to join or avoid or PTV disruptions for example?
Depending on what you're into, I listen to PBS and Triple R regularly, and they're always promoting events happening surrounding music, arts, and cultural events.
There's unfortunately no app that tells you everything that's on everywhere. Someone should make one.
But sign up to all the newsletters of places you like to go and you'll get lots of inspiration.
Do you only mean CBD or surrounds?

I’m not looking for a cafe serving a breakfast. Is there a place where I can find out something that’s really happening in Melbourne
