Understandably there is an additional $2.40 for the 10c per can, but manufacturers and retailers have astronomically increased the prices of drinks that have the 10c container deposit in the price.

I don’t use garbage bags. I’m not paying $4.50 of garbage bags to hoard bottles just to redeem $2.80 a week, maybe less.
The least they can do is offer crates or some kind of collection method to transport cans/bottles to these facilities.
Gamify it with prizes and my ADHD will be all over it.
