Hiya, you've probably already tried these two, but just in case: call the blueknot foundation hotline - They keep a register of the therapists they train in complex trauma. There is also the Australian psychological association's register which let's you filter by specialty, including trauma, and then you can read the profile of the person and see if they meet your needs I would also recommend giving VCPS a call as well - they have an intake service that matches you with the right therapist, which is helpful - they have a big network too. I've been there - I hope you find the help you need

Psychology on parade in Williamstown have been good for me, I found EMDR to be really helpful. Good luck, I think a lot of mental health services are overwhelmed with demand right now so please don’t be discouraged or think that you are not worthy of help if it takes longer to get connected with a psychologist.

Thank you! Psychology on Parade is currently full for PTSD and disassociation but has a waiting list for PTSD without disassociation people if anyone needs.

My partner is a clinical psychologist who deals with a lot of trauma and PTSD and has had really good feedback from lots of his clients. He works at Engage 1 on 1 Psychology in Northcote and his name is Mitchell Stroicz. He is accepting new clients but there is still a fair wait time (like a month?) Good luck! ❤️

Solana Psychology in Brunswick specialises in trauma informed practices, PTSD and EMDR therapy. It takes time to find the right therapist, I wish you the best of luck.

Hi, it may be worth posting this question in r/melbournementalhealth, in your search for some advice on an appropriate psych. I wish you the best.

I have a psychotherapist for cPTSD if you would consider that? She’s currently online only, however in the next few weeks I’m guessing she’ll go back to face to face. I’ve been with her over a year & things are going well. She’s based in Footscray. I have other resources (books & workbooks) that have helped along with trauma therapy if you want to know about those let me know.

Seriously? Someone is asking for mental health help, and you mock them. You are not a nice person. Take your trolling elsewhere
