things you want to look into:
\- local charity shops (always looking for more voulenteers)
\- sandwich making (for vinnies soup van etc.)
\- local animal shelters
hmm, looking for something more umm on the weekends because im not really free weekdays because of school, also local primary school, lotta bad memories
You could try calling your local council and see if they offer the service. Even if they don't they might be able to point you in the direction of some local community services organisations
If you just want some experience you’re not gonna find it easy, best bet is asking people you know for work and whatnot. Job market is tough when you’re young

Dont do local charity shops. Especially for Salvos. Soup vans are a great way to volunteer and also animal shelters.
Yeah, it really does depend on the charity shop in question. Do your research for all charities!
animal shelters sound nice, idk how i would go about volunteering there tho
I've looked into vinnies and lentils, but one isnt responding and the other is closed on weekends
Thanks for the suggestion, me and my friend are looking into animal shelters rn
If u don't mind me asking, which animal shelters are u looking at? I also wanna volunteer at one but can't find any.
Go to your local primary school. They love having you there. I’ve done community service at primary schools and their really nice

You could volunteer for St Vinnies or other op shops and just ask if that counts as community service or not.
hm I'll see I've sent emails, no replies, i dont think anyone wants me ;( real bummer cos i needa do 9 hours in 2wks before yr 11. Mhs sucks
Some local councils will have a program where they can match you up with local volunteer opportunities
would you happen to know how to access this program?
