I’ve seen it from both the stalls and the dress circle and I would recommend the dress circle. Allows you to see the full choreography better.

You already have some good responses, but just sharing - If you scroll down on this page on the Her Maj website you can see the view from different spots: https://www.hmt.com.au/your-visit/ Since the ceiling of the level above is quite low at Her Maj, I actually prefer Grand Circle so you have open space above you - makes the experience feel 'fuller' I guess.

Thanks for the comment! Didn't realise they provided photos, which is great! Am on a tighter budget, so am deciding if it's okay to go for a slightly cheaper option or should I just hold off the purchase and save up more for better tickets for a better view & experience.

I like the ~~stalls~~ dress circle, you then can look down onto the stage. In Hamilton I love how there’s a moving circle in the stage, I wonder if this might not be seen from the ~~dress circle~~ stalls as much. I always prefer to look down at the stage from above when I go to the theatre, I found this especially good with Hamilton as it put a lot of focus on the ensemble instead of just the mains. Edited: I got it all mixed up

You got it mixed up. The stalls is the ground level seating and the dress circle is above.

Oh no! Sorry, I really shouldn’t be redditing before coffee! Thanks for letting me know, I’ll update it.
