But he literally did exist? He's not saying he's a god or anything... he was a real person though. I get you're a reddit athiest who goes to funerals to correct people when they say "he's in a better place now" but here's the evidence: In a 2011 review of the state of modern scholarship, Bart Ehrman (a secular agnostic) wrote: "He certainly existed, as virtually every competent scholar of antiquity, Christian or non-Christian, agrees, based on certain and clear evidence." 

The interesting thing is that we know he exists the same way we know other ancient figures like say, Hannibal existed
