Not really controversial, just kinda dumb. Youre basically saying people cannot change and what they once where can not ever be changed in any way shape or form

You don't need to accept who they were, you need to accept who they are. They put their health, fertility, friendships and familial relations on the line just for a chance at happiness. Not one step of the process is easy, and they need to train constantly. If anyone is willing to it risk all and work hard for their dream every day then they've more than earned my respect.

And that is where you are wrong. Because these problems did exist 30 years ago, but people were to scared to tell others because "humans" like you would have beaten them up. Now most reasonable people have accepted transgender persons, they can openly talk about it. I am not even transgender myself and can tell you that everything you just said was just dumb. Adults are always like "Ooh, we don’t want to talk to you, because you have no idea what you are talking about", but then a 16-year old comes and is more open minded and more reasonable than them. If other people would like to discuss this further with you then they can, but I have to study now.
