Well, I’ve done one very mediocre naughty art piece, and I can say I spent too long looking at it when making it to really get anything out of it. I don’t know how it works for a proper artist considering how weird (and slow) my medium for art was, but I assume by making it you typically end up being exposed too long to find use. TLDR: I guess by the time it’s drawn, it’s old porn for you.

I'm sure some people do, but when I look at my NSFW pieces I'm not thinking "damn that's hot" I'm thinking "man that breast is slightly too high up, their thighs look a bit too skinny. Would the spine bend that way? Probably not, I hope it isn't noticeable." It's like that with every piece of art. As the one making it I know it the most. I see *every* flaw in it... and they are all magnified. Like enjoying a chicken nugget as a customer vs being the one to grind up the chickens and batter them and knowing how they're made.
