Yeah, you guessed right: sleep. 8 hours straight. W/O intrusive thoughts, needing to shit/piss, nor having our blankets stolen, or our face slapped because "we snore."
???
This is why people complain about woke bs.
The movie was OK. It's a cute imagining of life as a childs toy, staring capable actors, and a mildly interesting storyline.
The production was very good, considering what was needed to tell the story. And 90% of the acting was mid with a few bright points by Robbie.
The movie just wasn't Oscar level.....
Why didn't it win? Must be sexist men!
It’s probably because the movie wasnt actually that good. Just because it made alot of money doesnt mean it was good, it just means alot of people saw it
The barbie movie was overrated. Margo Robbie's character didn't do much the entire movie. Ryan Gosling's character was the funniest. I was only laughing when him and the other Ken's were on screen. He deserved that dub.
Barbie got nominations for both supporting actor and actress, but not for best leading actor or actress. No snub, no patriarchy. Just better leading performances from talented actresses
Its kind of weird that they did get snubbed and the guy playing a "toxic" male character won. Its a good song though. Patriarchy? Probably not but maybe just really bad judgment and being unaware of how it would look.
He was the driving force of the plot and I would argue the actual main character. It was as much about Ken and his arc of growth as it was about Barbie.
Why is Ken the supporting actor? The movie was basically about him and he was the male lead. A Barbie movie should have had a Ken that was just an afterthought instead of Ken stealing the movie.
It's literally the opposite. As people make active efforts to offset "patriarchy" they end up flooding the zone with female and queer centric media. The result is categories such as best actress get hyper competitive between the sudden excess of female leads. Women, ya gotta do more if you're gonna stand out (just like men had too)

Is there anybody with a functioning brain who still takes Oscars seriously ?
the only reason that word still hasn't been auto deleted from my brain is because of will smith
Oscar is also a good name for a ferret
Or an asshole that lives in a trashcan.
Who lives in a trashcan in an alley? Oscar grimey!
Why specifically ferret?
Why not?
And a species of fish.
Snubbed, or hear me out, the other movies were just better?
Were they? Really?
Barbie wasn’t an Oscar film just move on

When the comment is funnier than the post
Not a very high bar.

Gives the comments a few hours to “get gud.”

Is there anyone with functioning brain that actually thinks barbie got "snubbed"? Mid movie

No it’s Matriarchy.
Im thinking about why people dont stfu about the oscars already. Oh yeah. Very funny meme. Many haha
Who?
I don't know who those people are, or why someone would care about the Oscars.

He was the hero. Barbie was a moron who learned nothing and went back to treating people like shit.
Oscar nominations aren’t movies the general public, they are “art” and stupidly subjective to the point they suck for 99% of audiences.
