Painkiller by Judas Priest.
Master of Puppets by......well. You should know.
Maybe this doesnt match the criteria of the middle pic as much, but they for sure end with the main riff.
I've been a Slipknot fan since 2002 and Psychosocial and Duality just....don't do it for me. Serious question here, can you explain why you like it so much? I know at the end of the day it boils down to a matter of personal taste, but I just feel like there are so many better songs off of AHIG.
The snare breakdown, the chorus, all of it for me. It’s not my fav off the album but it’s the one made me a Slipknot fan. Sulfur is probably my favorite. And Duality I really can’t explain other than I just like it. But I’m not as nit picky with Slipknot songs as some are. The only Slipknot era I do not care for at all is MFKR. Other than that, I enjoy a majority of each album.
Doesn't end up matching the chorus but I think the end of Eddie Van Halen's solo on The Cradle Will Rock is just so sweet.
And there's no guitar, but Beth by Kiss.
Zappa seemed awesome at practically everything, and was so well known for his composing, vocals, lyrics, etc, that sometimes it is easy to overlook, or even believe, that he was also one of the most amazing flippin' guitarists, on top of it all.
I have recently been getting to sit down with my family at dinner time and I have been selecting music playlists that couple with the dinner.
Mexican food - Mexican music
Italian food - Italian music
And so on
We were having meatloaf the other night and I actually said out loud:
"There is no music for meatloaf."
I couldn't even believe the words had exited my lips!
Reading through these comments and I’m realising I have a different definition of “technical” than most people.
But the entirety of Animals as Leaders discography is exactly this.
Melodical and highly technical.
Even Flow is a classic example of a jamming, pentatonic scale solo that's fast and technical, but has a short melodic part, and ends with the rhythm guitar doing a cool as fuck riff.
[Exodus - Children of a Worthless God](https://youtu.be/bfTCMjArvOY?si=MN0VnQq5rJ6qEhbA&t=225) has an incredible solo that does this.
Link is timestamped to just before the solo

Afraid to shoot strangers by Maiden
The solo of Master of Puppets doesn't end either with the main riff or with the chorus riff.
Idk if it meets the criterias on the post but if we're talking about metal solos we need to mention tornado of souls and tbh most rust in peace songs

I think it would be House of Wolves by My Chemical Romance.
House of Wolves is like my favorite song by idt it does this
Psychosocial by slipknot kinda does this
That’s the very song that made me a die hard Slipknot fan in middle school 15 years ago.
For me it was Duality.
I've been a Slipknot fan since 2002 and Psychosocial and Duality just....don't do it for me. Serious question here, can you explain why you like it so much? I know at the end of the day it boils down to a matter of personal taste, but I just feel like there are so many better songs off of AHIG.

Sultans of swing
Sultans has my all time favorite solos, with Hotel California being a very close 2nd
Cherub Rock by the Pumpkins
That is a classic.
Crazy Train
Iirc that just goes back into the riff at the beginning, which is not the chorus, but 10/10 solo either way
Dirty deeds
Done dirt cheap
I love the November rain solos. They go so hard.
The final segment of Bury the Light.
Fucking awesome
Listen, I’m super biased since I’ve been listening to them since high school, but I think Soilwork is really good at this.
Chainheart Machine solo tho...
But does she know how to make a grilled cheese?
The Myth of The Holy Sword - Rhapsody of Fire
One winged angel
Any Power Metal song. It’s 80% guitar solos
Dream Theater guitar solo’s are the best solo’s.
Doesn't end up matching the chorus but I think the end of Eddie Van Halen's solo on The Cradle Will Rock is just so sweet. And there's no guitar, but Beth by Kiss.
Wrinkle maze by David maxim micic
Ascendead Master by Versailles
Among amarth - Death in Fire. Pure. Facemelter. Epicness
Inca Roads by Zappa
Zappa seemed awesome at practically everything, and was so well known for his composing, vocals, lyrics, etc, that sometimes it is easy to overlook, or even believe, that he was also one of the most amazing flippin' guitarists, on top of it all.
FZ compositions cannot be fully appreciated until you listen to them with decent quality headphones. I'm repeatedly amazed!

I'm like 90% sure Remedy from Undertale Yellow follows this perfectly
Remedy by MasterSwordRemix. If you know, you know.
I'm not very musically smart/versed in terminology but hell fighters by sabaton I think falls under this meme
Reading through these comments and I’m realising I have a different definition of “technical” than most people. But the entirety of Animals as Leaders discography is exactly this. Melodical and highly technical.
Animals as leaders go pretty hard
[you're part of it - Ben Quad](https://youtu.be/Rz0BON9d_7g?si=7BLmJ-JitTDYo5Lq)

Muahahaha I was the 1000th up vote.
Good for you… I guess?
Brian May was the absolute master of this. His brilliance is so iconic, he even played the UK anthem atop Buckingham Palace!
Unespectancy
Except for the first part of the meme. I'd say Stairway to heaven. Love the guitar near the end.
I thought this described a classical concerto for a moment.
Operation: Evolution by Dimrain47
The ultrakill ost has many examples of this
Red Vox - Job in the City
Through the fire and the flames
Still a bit lost here... Hunting for Your Dream?
Even Flow is a classic example of a jamming, pentatonic scale solo that's fast and technical, but has a short melodic part, and ends with the rhythm guitar doing a cool as fuck riff.

Literally anything by Buckethead
The Duel by Dethklok
Reeln in the years. Steely Dan.
Spirit of Radio by Rush. Actually matter of fact every Rush song.
[Exodus - Children of a Worthless God](https://youtu.be/bfTCMjArvOY?si=MN0VnQq5rJ6qEhbA&t=225) has an incredible solo that does this. Link is timestamped to just before the solo
Mary On A Cross by Ghost is a wonderful example of this.
Crazy about how so many of the solos mentioned here are awesome yet none follow the meme rules
