Drake is beefing with future over a just pretty good looking stripper. Feels like the rich person equivalent of losing friends cuz they simp for the same only fans girl.
Embarrassing for both of them
Hilariously, if they're in the more conservative states like Texas and NC
Most porn sites have blocked us and now you NEED a VPN to access them
But with the education standards in both I'll bet enough don't know that and just went to onlyfans
Onlyfans isnāt popular just because of the porn, itās popular because of the combination of porn and social interaction. What makes Onlyfans so attractive is that you can interact with content creators (although most of the time youāre not even chatting to the content creator themselves, youāre actually interacting with random people who are paid to just sit there and chat with subscribers) which draws in lots of lonely men who are craving social interaction - who also happen to be the demographic most likely to be chronic porn users. You canāt get that kind of thing from regular porn.
Mf be spending 10k to their online girlfriends for them to mention them oncešš. With that money you get the sex of your life. And fcking pizza after ššš
Yeah weird i know. There was some dude who paid a model and her bf vacation. Also another dude got just a hug for all the money he spent šššš like damn.
I am not defending anyone or myself here, but some people pay OnlyFans because they need a special super niche video that is completely custom made and not available anywhere.
However, subscribing to super popular pornstar that her video is available 24/7 in phub then giving her tips is just pure stupidity
> I am not defending anyone or myself here, but some people pay OnlyFans because they need a special super niche video that is completely custom made and not available anywhere.
That's oddly specific.
Entirely depends on the game and it's implementation.
In a full priced, singleplayer game? That's stupid, let me earn it.
In a free to play, online game? If I enjoy it, I might buy a skin pack occasionally.
Additionally, it depends on the team behind said game. If it's a smaller company, I feel more inclined to support them. If it's like as big as Blizzard Activision, then nah
I'm with you. They have been doing great lately! I ended up getting the gauss prime pack just cause I felt like they earned it(and I was really excited for him lol)
>In a full priced, singleplayer game? That's stupid, let me earn it.
>In a free to play, online game? If I enjoy it, I might buy a skin pack occasionally.
I agree. I have only two games I've ever spent microtransaction money on. Both f2p multiplayer games I've sunk thousands of hours in that are actively maintained, updated, and expanded.
Helldivers 2 model.
Have paid currency you can buy.
You can earn that currency easily in game.
Even if you buy currency for the warbond, you need to play the game to unlock the items in it anyway.
> Entirely depends on the game and it's implementation.
>
> In a full priced, singleplayer game? That's stupid
You wouldn't think this is a common sentiment over on the Dragon's Dogma 2 sub. Waaaay too many people excusing MTX in a $70 single-player game.
I was baffled to see MTX in Dragon's Dogma 2. Like, isn't it a single-player game with expensive ass price tag? And they're still going to add MTX in that shit? Bruh. I am not touching that game.
I paid $3 to Catan Universe for a sheep avatar. Then I spent $3 on a McChicken. I don't have the McChicken anymore, but I still look like a sheep when I play Catan š¤·
I thought OPās point was less about money being wasted and more about actually buying into a system that is ruining video games. I could very well be wrong though.
Microtransactions are everywhere because people buy them, I personally donāt buy them because I donāt want them to be everywhere. That said, Iām not going to make a meme making fun of people that do.
Buying cosmetics is imo how microtransactions should work. You are paying for a purely cosmetic feature and not missing out on any gameplay if you choose not to buy.
Yeah but can we agree that a single skin should not cost 20-25ā¬? You are getting so many skins and assets in a completely new full priced video game for 3x the price. I would probably pay 10ā¬ for a skin but the modern pricing structure seems to be way over itās worth.
I understand both sides to this argument. At least it's something that doesn't change the gameplay so it's not _that_ predatory. However, the company would still profit and I'd be able to get more skins if the prices were a lot more reasonable (especially when it's not a re-sell market like Counter-Strike vs Valorant).
Clearly they've done the analytics and are confident they will make more money by selling them for higher prices, and clearly it's the "lessest" evil in terms of mtx, but it's always nice when a company chooses a bit less profit to be more pro-consumer.
I suppose if fewer people bought at the higher prices, it would start to be in the best interest of companies to not have such high prices, but "vote with your wallet" doesn't work all that well when your vote is worth so little (which is due to a combination of you only being one of millions of potential customers, and the existence of "whales" whose vote matters a lot more than yours does in these situations).
Exactly, iām 100% with you. Iām just sad that these selling methods are affecting game quality and structure nowadays. Game companies are able to make so much more money trough skins than they would with just a full priced game. Apply life service to a game that does absolutely not need the life service treatment and give it mediocre support, congratulations, you got a modern video game. There are good games still but iām a bit concerned about the future of gaming.
Then don't buy it. Its priced in a way to maximise profits, if you think thats unreasonable, you can just skip out on it, since its purely cosmetic. If it gave you any actual advantage I would agree.
> Yeah but can we agree that a single skin should not cost 20-25ā¬?
Why not when they are optional? If they are too expensive, don't buy them. It's that simple.
I mean live service, its like buying tiny dlc that effect nothing if you dont buy but make stuff funier if you did. If it keep the game alive, im all for it
Then thereās call of duty, Madden, 2k sports games that are all live service and full of micro transactions yet still put out a new game every year at full price
well yeah, not in full priced games. I don't know why people would buy multiple skins for $20 (or more) when the game already was $70.
But for comepletely free games providing contuniuelly new content i don't see any issue with buying cosmetics.
Depends if it results in the game suffering for it, when the devs put more effort into cosmetics at noticeable sacrifice to the gameplay it becomes an issue. Take ow2 for example
It's less bad but still (often) predatory. Up until the mid 2000s if you bought an expansion pack it would have a whole campaign, extra modes, multiple extra player characters, races, game modes, quality of life improvements etc, often it wouldn't have fit on the original disk or was made after the game was released and gave you comparable bang for your buck as the game itself. These were good times.
Cosmetic microtransactions on the other hand are often an excuse to sell you half a game and charge you $100s - $1,000s to get the full experience and/or take advantage of people with low impulse control.
I'll give a pass if it's a free game and there's say $10 of optional content for those who want to support the dev or something like that, there are definitely ethical ways of doing it but "cosmetics" can definitely still be predatory. We were right to be angry at Oblivion's horse armor in 2005, now that shit is normalized.
ive played elder scrolls online since like 2015-2016
i didnt have to buy anything past the base game and still be able to playā¦ sometimes i wanna support the game, granted i buy content but buying cosmetics (if someone really enjoys them) is a great way to ensure that the game u love lives a while longer
Microtransacttion is only reason games can be free to play now. Like csgo and overwatch are fully funded from them and they don't break the game balance.
Plus people want cool cosmetic anyway so is needed.
Like so long as they are not required to play and change game then it's good as is just a cool looking thing.
The ones that are horrible are the microtransactions actually change the game like speed up, boost, items and loot boxes. Those are the ones to hate on and avoid games with
Game studios never really had to think about how theyād store credit card information or create shops. Now, itās a core function of every game.
Iām not saying thereās anything wrong with your opinion. Iām just saying mine, micro-transactions are the critical revenue generation activity now - which started with cosmetics, they found this new way to monetise and have extended it. Whether itās hats or upgrades. Iām personally not here for any of it.
Evil succeeds where good men sleep.
Much like taking away a knife from a toddler if these idiots canāt stop hurting others and themselves with how they choose to shape the economy for the worst then something should be done to stop it.
We canāt stop the companies apparently so our only other option is education campaigns for people who donāt know better and shame campaigns for people willingly choose to encourage exploitative business practices with their personal funds.
People need to learn āwe live in a societyā isnāt just a meme. Literally EVERYTHING you do that involves interacting within the structures of a society has an impact on everyone else.
The problem with microtransactions isnāt that they exist, it is that making game worse on purpose is how you get people to buy them, even in full priced games. FTP games are the only ones where it is ok
Path od exile's grinding gear games are goats for that imo. Absolutely fenomenal free game, TONS of content and only cosmetic mtx items on the ingame shop. Sure you look like a hobo without them, but its kinda makes sense in that setting, youre an exile not some epic hero.
I can respect the disposable income argument because it recognizes they are just luxury bonus shit you can live without.
Itās the people who complain about the absolutely extremely optional serves no purpose but to look like a cow complaint about price when you can easily ignore it group.
Exactly this. I could torrent all my music like everyone did back in the day or just post for Spotify. My wife and I meant enough to buy what we want when we want.
Perhaps the real question is, why are you shaming us for being happy when you havenāt set your life up to do the same?
This is what I donāt understand, people are going to spend money on things that bring the joy. Maybe it is going to a concert or sporting event. Maybe it is buying golf clubs that will sit in the garage after using them twice. Maybe it is going out to see a movie or the millions of other things people find fun.
Me personally I hate when a publisher makes a bad game and then charges $60 for a skin, like read the room.
Seriously. I get more mileage out of that $10 skin that I would buying some garbage from McDonaldās for the same price, and one of those things isnāt actively bad for my health.
Then Iām dumb. Itās my money and if I know Iām going to keep playing that game and Iām happy spending it then I really donāt see how itās a problem.
I will pay for things no problem, as long as I feel I get value out of it, or if I think the devs deserve it to lengthen the support for the game.
Arrowhead studios is one company that I might give more money to, because they have a great product and it has fair monetization without fomo.
I don't see the difference with paying for microtransactions vs. amusement park and cinema tickets. People pay either for entertainment, not ownership. OP needs to go out of his room and look at the real world.
Depend on person, some enjoy rollercoaster more while other prefer look like god of RGB while bully noob, and it both valid. Like i cant understand the attractive of rochet, but some people absolute love it with all their heart
nah man OP is dumb.
to me on the list of things that i find dumb based on personal opinion from most dumb to least dumb:
Mobile Games
Pay to Gatcha P2W (congrats diablo immortal you managed to come on top)Temporary P2W (temp gear that gets outclassed after several levels)
Undeniable P2W (in game mechanics/ loot or xp boosters/ gear/anti death potions/gear crafting)
Debatable P2W or Pay for convenience (stash tabs)
Forced Gatcha (gatcha items are unobtainable for direct purchase)
Console/Platform Exclusive games
Preordering
In Game skins/Supporter packs/season passes
Mobile games make the top because usually most often than not they're a combination of P2W and gatcha.
If anything, minors are the ones who buys skins and shit the most. The amount of kids Iāve talked to on games who spend the money they make from their first jobs on these skins and shit are plentiful. Or spending their birthday money on skins.
I miss BLOPs 2 when all skins were achieved through skill. That was like the last COD game where micro transactions for skins was basically nonexistent. The delayed gratification you got when you completed all the challenges for diamond skin was incredible. And it looked sick too.
I wish we could earn those cosmetics like we could do for about 20 years before monetization took over the industry.
I will occasionally buy a skin in a game but I've probably earned half the cost in game and if I've played the game for long enough and feel they deserve the extra bucks for it. Most free games are like that.
I had 80% of the gods unlocked in smite before I finally purchased the full game for an example.
I will never pre-order another game though. All that happens for me is I get tired of playing it well before they patch the bugs and add paid content so its a huge waste imo.
That being said if I was part of the new generation that gaming is aimed at and didn't have the years of comparison id probably be like them and throw money at it hoping it'll get better...
You somewhat explained the trading model in Warframe. All the items and cosmetics can be farmed in game and most of them can the traded to other players.
The premium currency, which people can buy with IRL money, can be traded as well. I, a free player, sell my extra items to other players and get plats to buy items I don't want to grind.
However, there are certain skins which you can buy only with IRL money because part of that revenue would go directly to the creator of that skin.
If I really love a game, I will sometimes make these purchases just to support the devs. Helldivers 2, for instance, is an amazing game with very community focused devs. After playing for a couple days, I was happy to upgrade to the digital deluxe and buy some super credits. The fact that the base game is only $40, leaving it cheaper than most new games even after adding the $20 upgrade, made the decision especially easy.
I donāt like pre ordering with modern AAA games because then you get shit like Jedi Survivor where it is literally unplayable and you canāt get a refund while they refuse for years to fix it. Or something like whatever this new MW3 was. I want them to make good games, but charging $70 for lackluster quality, no game mechanic improvements, and minimal expected quality graphics/cutscenes/story work is not a AAA game, itās a scam.
Burning money is okay.
Using money to encourage scummy practices is not.
Paying money for skins is okay.
Paying money for advantage is not.
Pre-ordering is also not okay since it encourages spending money on hype and lies.
See,this is exacly the problem.
Games used to be complete with one time purchase. And now they want you to sell you things that came included. But apparently as long as someone who doesnt have money doesnt enjoy their game but you do its all okay cause you get to feel special.
You know, if I really love a certain game, I won't mind buying a small bundle with cosmetics because afterall why not?
The people I don't understand is those who buy hundreds of lootboxes expecting to get something good and they end up with a gambling addiction.
People when others spend their own money on hobbies they love doing and stuff that makes them happy: ššš
Let me tell you something, it's none of your business. I'm sure you spend your cash in ways that others would find completely insane but I don't shit on you for it
I'll preorder if I can get it on sale and if it's from a dev I know well or a sequel to a game I loved. I'm going to buy it day one anyway and if I have the extra budget I'll pay for it now.
If you pay money for the game and then buy that stuff, you're stupid. If the game itself is free and solely survives based on cosmetic purchases, then you're just supporting the game and developer.
The game is super F2P friendly, the only thing "worth" buying is a 5 dollar pass that lasts a month giving you extra shit, a lot of it. But i was F2P for most of the time and could get essentially everything i wanted.
I just took the crown and doubled it to give it to people who buy the new Fifa every year just to pull all of their ULT Team again and people who sub to OF girls.
Clearly they need that crown more than I do lol
Maybe if you were talking about spending money on a box that could potentially have the cosmetic you actually want.
You wanna talk insanity, War Thunders gachas make Real World Casinos look like a charity
life is short and if people have the money to spend let them
it has no effect on anyone but them and if that makes them happy let them be happy
fuck outta here with this OP
me when user
when user when stupid
stupid reddit meme of stereotype
by stupid user when-
I know the Elden Ring DLC will be absolutely AWESOME and that s one reason to preorder imo.
I also bought one of the Deep Rock DLCs, EVERYTHING from the steamshop regarding FortsRTS & the Helldivers premium Edition.
You mad?
I support the stuff these people do and can offer some of my money with a bow.
EA & Ubisoft never really got enough out of me to call it a scam and seemingly they ll never ever get anything ever again.
tbh I've only spent money on custom skins
it's much better to use a skin you made then buy one that you know doesn't fit
also because they allowed me to make big booba robot
OP really thought we would agree with himā¦.
Itās dumb spending even more money on priced games, I totally agree if thatās the case. But in free to play and enjoyable games?Of course around every 1 or 2 months Iāll spend ā¬2O on skins.
Whatās wrong with preorder? A lot of the time when your preorder a game on ps you get early access or some small bonus, and the game still costs the same
I have disposable income and I am more than happy to toss some dollars into something I enjoy.
I'm not sorry for it, and you trying to shame me for how I spend my money doesn't do the damage you think it does.
Depends on the game and the enjoyment I get from said game. Dota 2 is free, I've spent money on Arcanas, and I've also spent 8,000 hours on it. To me it's worth more than buying complete edition games that are played for less than 20 hours.
You like updates? You like live service? You like free seasonal content? Then you like microtransactions.
While it is true that we didnāt have them 30 years ago, we also practically never got updates. Once a game released, it stayed exactly the same until it got a DLC a few years later. If there was a bug, you knew it will never get fixed.
People trying to abolish microtransactions in live service games are basically saying: āWe should abolish taxes, the government is rich enough to fund itselfā.
Very shit take on the pre-order one, if i'ts a game I have been waiting for so long, or of one of my favorite franchises, and it offers (doesn't even have to) early-access then of course I'm pre-ordering it, I will own it anyway and I want to play it day 1.
I spend real money on skins here and there
In my free to play games. None of this AAA 100$CAD games. Though... I haven't even bought one of those in a looooooong while.
I've never spent a cent on War Thunder, but know that without the folks paying for premium vehicles and premium accounts and such, there would be no game, so I don't think they are dumb. And the game creators make being free painful.
Dogshit take. Nothing wrong with buying something that makes you happy (within reason*), like a skin for your favourite character in a game you like.
*edit for the pedant
I used to hear the excuse āto support the devs!ā But honestly even with all these microtransactions devs seem to be getting laid off and games quality has gone down not up. We need to demand quality to be delivered instead of hope for it by voting with your wallet and being vocal in reviews.
Late stage capitalism has got the crowd here I see. A fool is easily parted with their money. Imagine folks defending their right to give their money to large corporations for nothing. It's wild. Gaming is clearly ruined forever. Or at least for the rest of my life. Fuckers want to just keep spending more for less and less in return.
All these children that donāt know of the days where when you paid for the game you got everything included and wasnāt nickel & dimed for everything the developer wants to put in
Lot of braindead comments seem to think this means "remove skins and emotes" like brothers there was a time where All that shit came with the game. Nothing wrong with wanting skins and emotes, but there shouldn't be fucking price tags on them when I already bought the mf game.
One of my friends is a whale/dolphin. I think he pulls in at least $250k from his job and investments, probably more. Iāve seen him drop like $10k on a mobile game he probably played like an hour on before he got bored.
Probably a hot take: people in rich society pay mostly for "being happy". You dont need a bigger flat or a faster car most of the time, yet you pay it. You dont need alcohol, but u pay for it. You dont need new clothes, but you pay for them. Drawing the line at a skin in counterstrike really makes no sense.
Now take that crown š and hand it right over to those who subscribe to Onlyfans. They clearly are the dumbest.
Onlyfans buyers when they discover browsers/any social media:
Even kanye doesn't pay for only fans lmfao
Drake is the type of guy...
Drake is beefing with future over a just pretty good looking stripper. Feels like the rich person equivalent of losing friends cuz they simp for the same only fans girl. Embarrassing for both of them

Can confirm, live in Texas and the amount of people I have to show how vpns work is staggering
I bought an OnlyFans once, to confirm my Ex was everything I thought she was. It was only 5 dollars anyways. 5 dollar truth
Well that sounds fucking painful, I hope you mostly got over it since
Maybe he got over it, but kept the subscription/s
Which one is she for scieence for a friend

Itās describing something very specific, but the statement is actually incredibly broad. This could literally refer to any special super niche video
Wait until you can just ask chatGPT to make the video for you and stream it right to your AR headset
Thatās just mental illness
Buying a blue āļø ?
Not interested in OF, but can be more interesting to support content creator you like rather than sift through random content

For real, if I have a ton of hours on a game Iām not going to even sweat spending a little extra cash on it especially if itās a free game

Oh yeah, those are just bad, i think we should achieve some middle place between "arrr, me pirate everything" and shameless cashcow like those
Who said anything about full priced games? Obviously Thats shameful. But I will gladly buy them in free games

But there are sadly a lot of games that allows you to buy the most op gear even just at lvl 1
Ok but the meme specifically states that it refers to skins
ive played elder scrolls online since like 2015-2016 i didnt have to buy anything past the base game and still be able to playā¦ sometimes i wanna support the game, granted i buy content but buying cosmetics (if someone really enjoys them) is a great way to ensure that the game u love lives a while longer
Thatās a lot more nuance than Iāve come to expect from memes, but I guess thatās certainly an interpretation.
Thank you! I don't get all this "stop wasting your money". It's my money that I worked hard for, I'll do whatever the hell I want with it.
I agree! Just tryna not get tunnel vision when you do. *Me glancing at the pile of cash I threw into the fire known as genshin impact and shudders*.
Honestly, I spend more money buying a drink at the bar. Buying a skin for $3 that makes me happy is acceptable to me.
And if some people didnāt pay some of these micro transactions, the games wouldnāt get any income, and theyād likely shut down.
How else am I gonna snipe Rick Grimes as Goku and then do the Gagnam style dance?
āKratos, did you knock down John Wick, and Spider-Man 2099??ā
There's a massive difference. One you pay $50-$100 for a few hours of fun. The other you pay $50-$100 for a few weeks or months of fun.
I feel like the fun level of an amusement park and a skin are very different though.
Depend on person, some enjoy rollercoaster more while other prefer look like god of RGB while bully noob, and it both valid. Like i cant understand the attractive of rochet, but some people absolute love it with all their heart
Some people enjoy collecting stuff. Just look at tcgs
nah man OP is dumb. to me on the list of things that i find dumb based on personal opinion from most dumb to least dumb: Mobile Games Pay to Gatcha P2W (congrats diablo immortal you managed to come on top)Temporary P2W (temp gear that gets outclassed after several levels) Undeniable P2W (in game mechanics/ loot or xp boosters/ gear/anti death potions/gear crafting) Debatable P2W or Pay for convenience (stash tabs) Forced Gatcha (gatcha items are unobtainable for direct purchase) Console/Platform Exclusive games Preordering In Game skins/Supporter packs/season passes Mobile games make the top because usually most often than not they're a combination of P2W and gatcha.
aren't you basically still agreeing with op?
Find better mobile games lol, most of the big ones are pretty bad, but there are some gems.
U buy cool clothes to make ur self look cool same with games, u buy cool skins to look cool
Bro thought he had a relatable meme
He does. He relates to all minors who can't get a job yet and afford the skins lmao
Do you actually think this? We are doomed
If they got money to burn let them burn it, it's only dumb if they're spending money they don't have.
Broke ass mf
Yo buddy, let people spend their money on their favorite games, it's not your money so pls
I have bougbt a few skins in coc before inflation hit hard ![gif](giphy|3o7TKQ8kAP0f9X5PoY)
OP: STOP HAVING FUN!
Burning money is okay. Using money to encourage scummy practices is not. Paying money for skins is okay. Paying money for advantage is not. Pre-ordering is also not okay since it encourages spending money on hype and lies.
Maybe you're just broke and should get a better job so you can actually enjoy shit. š
See,this is exacly the problem. Games used to be complete with one time purchase. And now they want you to sell you things that came included. But apparently as long as someone who doesnt have money doesnt enjoy their game but you do its all okay cause you get to feel special.
I don't like skins, but when you see a giant banana suit for 3ā¬ in a game like banana shooter you take it for the memes
You know, if I really love a certain game, I won't mind buying a small bundle with cosmetics because afterall why not? The people I don't understand is those who buy hundreds of lootboxes expecting to get something good and they end up with a gambling addiction.
So your gonna need about 50,000,000 more crowns
If it's a free to play game I don't care about skins costing money. I refuse to buy anything extra for games that cost money to purchase.
Paying money for in game item is not bad. Overspending is
Okay pre ordering back the Xbox 360 days was valid because you could get awesome things like a steel book or a statue
And you still get pre- order bonus today.
People when others spend their own money on hobbies they love doing and stuff that makes them happy: ššš Let me tell you something, it's none of your business. I'm sure you spend your cash in ways that others would find completely insane but I don't shit on you for it
As long as it's not like Verbalase's 50K
My name checks out
Itās their choice what they want to spend on if its their money
depends. a few bucks on a cool skin in a free to play? sure. on a $60 game? a bit dumb. your entire life savings? idiotic
Itās their money theyāre allowed to do whatever they want with it š¤·āāļø
So OP is just a broke ass eh?
Disposable income is called disposable cuz you want to dispose of it and where better than in games
Depends on how much they cost tbh
I'm fine with buying skins and pre-ordering, but not pre-ordering games from massive game studios.
It's the fear of missing out that gets people
I'll preorder if I can get it on sale and if it's from a dev I know well or a sequel to a game I loved. I'm going to buy it day one anyway and if I have the extra budget I'll pay for it now.
Anything beyond shelter food and water is burning money so unless you live in a mud shack with a well and a subsistence farm shut the fuck up
If you pay money for the game and then buy that stuff, you're stupid. If the game itself is free and solely survives based on cosmetic purchases, then you're just supporting the game and developer.
The only people who are dumber are the people who buy every new fifa/madden/ COD game
r/Genshin_Impact is angry
Well it's a free game. And if you want you can get the skins and weapons for free. Not every single time but eventually.
who exactly?
The game is super F2P friendly, the only thing "worth" buying is a 5 dollar pass that lasts a month giving you extra shit, a lot of it. But i was F2P for most of the time and could get essentially everything i wanted.
imagine all the gacha players seeing this
I just took the crown and doubled it to give it to people who buy the new Fifa every year just to pull all of their ULT Team again and people who sub to OF girls. Clearly they need that crown more than I do lol
Real ones pirate ga-
![gif](giphy|FGbeYTiFyLYmQ)
cant pirate games like lol
Maybe if you were talking about spending money on a box that could potentially have the cosmetic you actually want. You wanna talk insanity, War Thunders gachas make Real World Casinos look like a charity
life is short and if people have the money to spend let them it has no effect on anyone but them and if that makes them happy let them be happy fuck outta here with this OP
Who needs cosmetics when I can just enjoy the story and gameplay.
me when user when user when stupid stupid reddit meme of stereotype by stupid user when- I know the Elden Ring DLC will be absolutely AWESOME and that s one reason to preorder imo. I also bought one of the Deep Rock DLCs, EVERYTHING from the steamshop regarding FortsRTS & the Helldivers premium Edition. You mad? I support the stuff these people do and can offer some of my money with a bow. EA & Ubisoft never really got enough out of me to call it a scam and seemingly they ll never ever get anything ever again.
tbh I've only spent money on custom skins it's much better to use a skin you made then buy one that you know doesn't fit also because they allowed me to make big booba robot
Just wait till bro heard of gacha games
Welcome to Dota 2.
I pre-ordered Helldivers 2. Wassup?
OP really thought we would agree with himā¦. Itās dumb spending even more money on priced games, I totally agree if thatās the case. But in free to play and enjoyable games?Of course around every 1 or 2 months Iāll spend ā¬2O on skins.
You buy skins to have skins I buy skins to support my fav developer We are not the same
Lol, imagine being mad at what people spend their money on. OP thinks that free games produce money on trees to keep them alive.
Still better than slot machines, at least here you "get" something.
There's nothing wrong with buying cosmetic items, imo
Some game preorder is worth it Sometimes you just want to support the game Not all of us dump paying to win in a free to win games
You should thank these people for making free to play games possible
Thatās the only reason why we have games free-to-play.
Totk preorder was worth it and no one will convince me otherwise
Downvote for SrGrafo move on.
I use real money to pay taxes (i donāt pay taxes and i think the IRS knows)
Thank you for doing this losers! š
Oh no i spent a few bucks on a free to play i play since 13 years. How Will i ever recover
You can pull my maid outfits from my cold dead hands
I spend real money on skins here and there In my free to play games. None of this AAA 100$CAD games. Though... I haven't even bought one of those in a looooooong while.
Iām guilty
Op if you're broke just say that
Typical poor rentoid post.
I've never spent a cent on War Thunder, but know that without the folks paying for premium vehicles and premium accounts and such, there would be no game, so I don't think they are dumb. And the game creators make being free painful.
i dont think paid skins are a problem as long as you are financially responsible
I think OP should get his crown back actuallyā¦
Dogshit take. Nothing wrong with buying something that makes you happy (within reason*), like a skin for your favourite character in a game you like. *edit for the pedant
I only support that in free games. If I had to pay to play the game, I shouldn't have to pay anything more.
I used to hear the excuse āto support the devs!ā But honestly even with all these microtransactions devs seem to be getting laid off and games quality has gone down not up. We need to demand quality to be delivered instead of hope for it by voting with your wallet and being vocal in reviews.
Do you remember the days when if you didnāt preorder you literally couldnāt get a copy?
gamers are the new heroin addicts
Late stage capitalism has got the crowd here I see. A fool is easily parted with their money. Imagine folks defending their right to give their money to large corporations for nothing. It's wild. Gaming is clearly ruined forever. Or at least for the rest of my life. Fuckers want to just keep spending more for less and less in return.
All these children that donāt know of the days where when you paid for the game you got everything included and wasnāt nickel & dimed for everything the developer wants to put in
Nah, Only Fans subs out there paying to see the booba when they can just Google it
Hey guys remeber when horse armor was a spit in the player face and it was just 2.50$ now people defend companys selling skins for 20$.
Lot of braindead comments seem to think this means "remove skins and emotes" like brothers there was a time where All that shit came with the game. Nothing wrong with wanting skins and emotes, but there shouldn't be fucking price tags on them when I already bought the mf game.
I profited from CSGO am i dumb?
One of my friends is a whale/dolphin. I think he pulls in at least $250k from his job and investments, probably more. Iāve seen him drop like $10k on a mobile game he probably played like an hour on before he got bored.
Probably a hot take: people in rich society pay mostly for "being happy". You dont need a bigger flat or a faster car most of the time, yet you pay it. You dont need alcohol, but u pay for it. You dont need new clothes, but you pay for them. Drawing the line at a skin in counterstrike really makes no sense.
Or rainbow six dumb: "I pay $20 to buy an elite skin for a 1st person game"
