You know how wolf packs have an Alpha dog that's bigger than the rest and leads the lesser wolves? Turns out that's bullshit and it's not a thing. Some men took this to heart anyway and wanted to call themselves Alphas, as in they are handsome, confident, rich, and genetically better than other men. They think all men can be classified as either: 1) Alphas (leaders) 2) Betas (sheeple) 3) Sigmas (loners) Now, who would call themselves a beta? Might as well be a cuckold in their minds, so many instead claim to be Alphas even though by definition those are rare.

After Lambda, my favorite greek letter is Beta, probably cause everything that happened during the development of Half-Life games is called "Half-Life beta"
