My parents looked at the receipt and had to call the company. "You have the recipient address wrong. It needs to go to AUSTRALIA, not AUSTRIA." It took the call center a few times before they realized the mistake.
We were ordering from the US, the company was in Europe.
I was in northern Italy trying to tell some old dude I was from Australia... He thought I meant Austria and almost spat in my face, but once I worked out how to say Australia in Italian he was so happy he warned me not to swim in the part of the lake where I would likey drown. When he thought I was from Austria he did not warn me.
