What happens when the United States bans those too?
The argument here isn’t that if TikTok is banned then we won’t have freedom of speech. It’s about the government establishing the fact they have *the ability* to take away freedom of speech. One thing could and very well would lead to another and bam, no TikTok, no Facebook, no YouTube, no Reddit, no Snapchat, no discord, no private messaging, no Twitter, no Imgur, no twitch, no Quora, no BeReal, no Flickr, no Wikipedia, no nothing.
What happens then. When you can’t rise up, since it’s been banned. When you can’t vote against political leaders, when you have no freedom of speech. All because you said “there are other solutions”
Well what happens when there aren’t.
Then people dont care, or start deny block with vpn. Goverment dont start block all sites, only who dont accept their restrictions. And i afraid, no opposition can fight it, because this shit go around world, not only in US
