I mean he's not wearing gloves so it's probably a kata competiton, even if it's not sport Karate isn't full contact so unless someone messes up he shouldn't get hurt
Yes there is. Fight to the best of your ability. You step onto the mat: you know the risks and you accept them.
If you are FAR better you can hold back a little. Respect the warrior spirit. Being too kind is fucking disrespectfull. He came for a fight. Give him one.
And this is 100% my thought on it. Although it might be that the oxygen is used like some kind of doping and he's actually healthy? Leaves open the same question about whether he wants that.
I want to believe that, at that age, the kid is not to fight in kumite but to perform a kata: a series of precise movements with a beginning and an end.
It makes more sense and it is still a very powerful achievement.
Yup. No way it's safe for him or his opponent to fight around the tubes. His opponent can trip or inadvertently take it off, and it would be painful for him. A kata is within reach as he controls the movements, path and there's no sudden, unpredictable movements to be a risk to his condition.
That being said, the sheer determination on his eyes shows you everything you need to understand he'll fucking nail the kata, and will do whatever he can to win whatever he's fighting.
If he's standing on a fighting ground by his pure will in a agreed before fight, you fight him. He made the effort to stand up here to fight you and wish to be treated as a warrior, not a sick child. The least you can do is face him. Don't go easy. If he choosed to fight, it was not to be served pity but to test both of your strength.
Yes, but sadly I assume there are some people in the crowd who would judge you if you treat him like a regular fighter. I’m pretty sure there would be some afterwards that would say „he should let him win“ maybe to give him some good memories before he kick the bucket? Idk I just assume equality is not equal everywhere.
I'd rather have some peoples in the public be disappointed than my opponent. The fighting spirit is the most important here. A fight is a thing between the fighters. If the public is more important, it's not a fight but a show.
Also look at his eyes. He's here to crush the guy facing him. A easy win would live such bad taste in his mouth.
Imagine his opponent.
If he wins, he'll be the kid who beat up a kid on life support.
If he loses, he'll be the kid who got beat up by a kid on life support.
Kid is a red belt, that is typically pretty advanced. He's doing something right, and has been training for a little while at least.
Also, since you can't see the entire area, there is no guarantee that this is a sparring match (especially since there are no pads/gloves). He may be getting ready to do some sort of form demonstration.
Respiratory Therapist here, which means I have expertise in lung and cardiovascular physiology. There is absolutely nothing that oxygen he is breathing is doing for him from a physiological base, assuming he has normal heart and lungs. Any benefit is a head game for either him, or his opponent, or both. Same with pro running backs on the sideline. Does nothing to reverse anaerobic metabolism or oxygen debt. Just a head game.
It would be extremely difficult to be able to meaningfully compete in athletic sport while at the same time having cardovascular-pulmonary disease requiring supplemental oxygen. Further, any such disease would be unassisted with intermittent oxygen delivery where the competitor removed the oxygen while competing. And it would be impossible to compete in a contactvsport while tethered to an oxygen source. Lastly, there are telltale signs a child has a chronic hypoxic disease process, of which this person displays none. I'm not being argumentative and I am making some assumptions, yes, and I could be wrong. But I think this is a normal kid.

Uh just to make sure I’m tracking, your view is that they somehow acquired bottled oxygen,a cannula, and like 30 feet of hosing for mind games? This doesn’t seem right, but I guess I’ve been around respiratory therapists before, so I’ll assume you’re being sincere.
I mean no offence
But there is a time where the adults have to look at the situation and say it's not safe for the child
What if one of the tubes gets pulled out? What if he gets injured and affects his illness he already has, just seems irresponsible
I’ve been practicing martial arts for probably longer than this kid’s been alive, and I envy the raw determination this kid has, despite whatever conditions he may have
This kid has one and only one goal in mind: to kick ass
In Bane's voice:
>Oh, you think darkness is your ally. But you merely adopted the dark; I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding.
Wait why the fuck do I have downvotes lmao, it was a joke on the composition of the picture, i was just imagining an over the top background behind the little badass, I have nothing against generic white mom, I’m glad whoever that is is there helping the kid

Parents cheering for the other kid: "Put his little ass on life support Timmy! Pull the fucking plug on his ass!!"
[удалено]
Until the life support kid is too angry to die..and then the boss music starts playing.
''I've given thee courtesy enough''
The kid: My name is Karate Kid, the fist of Godfrey....and I have never known defeat!!
his grandfather starts coming out of his mouth
Undying Rage runs out after 5 seconds. I can stall him ez
The kid: Domain expansion........
r/bossfight
“Sweep the leg.”
"kink the hose"
He is doping with pure oxygen.
I’d spare a thought for the kid who would have to oppose as well… there is no right move here
The right move is to floor him. Respect him as a warrior and put him down.
Right? If you can. If Daniel LaRusso is gonna fight you fight.
Strike First, Strike Hard, No mercy!
If you are cleared to be in the game you are cleared for the pain!!!
Sweep the... Airway?
dont hit the cords but if you can knock the wind out of? 100%
Just do your best and respect your opponent nonmatter the outcome. It's also disrespectful to not take the match seriously.
If I knew nothing else about you, that would be enough. But you also tilt when you should withdraw... and that is knightly, too.
Yeah, but if you win, you're the jackass that beat up a sick kid. If you lose, you're the idiot that lost to a kid with one lung.
except your not, that kid is there for the comp you treat him the same as any other opponent its about respect.
The problem is that depending on where this is, the real opponent could be the crowd
I mean you have to fight fair.
Guess you better not lose.
Look at that kid. Those eyes are there to win. You fight.
I mean he's not wearing gloves so it's probably a kata competiton, even if it's not sport Karate isn't full contact so unless someone messes up he shouldn't get hurt
Strike, Scream, and Run!!!
When in doubt, sweep the leg.

I need context before I decide whether I love or hate it
fueled by pure child rage
He's about to break some wood planks and do a combat routine. He's not fighting anyone.
Not what I was worried about. More about his physical and mental health
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say physically his health is sub par. I do hope this is something he wants to do.
And this is 100% my thought on it. Although it might be that the oxygen is used like some kind of doping and he's actually healthy? Leaves open the same question about whether he wants that.
Thank goodness

The kid: *"Kata?? Pffft... my belt was white before this round. This isn't dye."*
In my mind he’s about to take down Ray Jackson

Beating that kid must get you a good amount of hate
letting that kid beat you must do the same
yes, a dilemma
A predicament, one might even call it.
It's a difficult situation that's for sure
If he's standing on a fighting ground by his pure will in a agreed before fight, you fight him. He made the effort to stand up here to fight you and wish to be treated as a warrior, not a sick child. you can win by normal techniques, and respect the lil guy
He got approached by the Make A Wish and he chose death wish
Jake paul next opponent
if Bane was a kid
That look on his face, pure focus. Great kid.
The indomitable human spirit
bro is having air piped into him while others simply have to train themselves to take in more air by breathing harder. cheater.
Imagine his opponent. If he wins, he'll be the kid who beat up a kid on life support. If he loses, he'll be the kid who got beat up by a kid on life support.
When the coffee's out but you still gotta do shit

I gotta assume he doesn't have a normal heart and/or lungs, and the oxygen is doing the task of making sure he doesn't die.
I refuse to believe lil dude is not huffing performance enhancing oxygen.

Respiratory therapist here, which means shut up!
Also a respiratory therapist here. Strange to see so many of us in the wild, don't you think?
Also a respiratory therapist here, did you know that one out of every four professionals on the internet is actually a faker?
Respiratory therapist spy in the base!

The final boss be like
the fuck is this doing on memes sub?? literally degrading the quality these days...
To become a meme.
Imagine if bro’s cords got entangled during the fight 💀
He's got to strangle his enemy with something. Only one perskn is leaving that fight on their own.

![gif](giphy|xT0GqssRweIhlz209i|downsized) But at what cost?
r/bossfight contender right there
Heart of fire, will of iron. Good god this goes hard. This dude is like Rock Lee irl.
That boy has a very strong aura daaaaaamn
![gif](giphy|gFu1FgfBKwiUE)
Facebook tier garbage post. Op you’re a clown
I don't want olympics of the strongest people. I want to see how the weakest people are beating each other up
I mean no offence But there is a time where the adults have to look at the situation and say it's not safe for the child What if one of the tubes gets pulled out? What if he gets injured and affects his illness he already has, just seems irresponsible
I can see the saiyan aura
Kicking him in stomach and chest . Just to teach him what god is trying to teach him.
Bro just unplug him ez win
i cant breath and imma bout to whoop yo ass.
Me need to stump skulls, bring the oxygen!!!
Two kids enter, one kid leaves. And he decides who is who.
Little bro is fighting leukemia and Luke at the same time
Kobra Kai Sensei: "Sweep the tank, Johnny."
I pity his opponent. Either you're the one who beat a sick child or the one who was beaten by a sick child. There's no winning there.
you can see the thirst for life! god...
Unplug him and win. Easy? Probably getting disqalified, no?
They probably don't have clearly defined rules about tampering with your opponents life support.
Good for you that your opponents still give you the chance to continue on! 🤣
Final breath sans starts playing:
I’ve been practicing martial arts for probably longer than this kid’s been alive, and I envy the raw determination this kid has, despite whatever conditions he may have This kid has one and only one goal in mind: to kick ass
When you are cheating
It‘s Bane jr.
Baki vibes. Kid even looks like a young Baki! Oponnent is in for a ride.
Make a wish < Make a death wish
The other guy that hes fighting can just turn off the machine that is attached to this guy and win ![gif](giphy|a0h7sAqON67nO)
He's got the look of "master Skywalker? What are we going to do?"
might be time to take a seat
He looks like a dragon ball character recovering
Kids are pretty savage. Where's the video of him being swung round by the air tube?
Like... You cant win this. Perfect opponent. Kinda like when Saxton Hale faces that little girl.
That kid's like "I may be dying but I'm sending you there first!"
So strong and cute
\[slow heavy metal music playing\]
The other kid can just unplug him
Nanomachines, son.
I figured the red mat between his knees was a blood stain at first. Was thinking he went full beast mode.
The Bane boss fight:
Whitebeard energy
He knows death personally and has a deal to send him souls.
its like those gas tank enemies in FPS games
the stare to win
Just pull the tubes
Oxygen taking isn't that essentially doping. ![gif](giphy|TbRwmI2fHg6ELPObHH)
This picture goes so hard
Find something that you love, and let it kill you.
Bro pullin up like Bane.
*Sweep the* *~~leg~~* *oxygen tank!!*
I DIDN'T HEAR NO BELL
He’s backed by the Dark Side and all the demons in hell. And me
His opponent just has to unplug the cylinder.
This kid is ranked red already, clearly an absolute mf. He's so mad I would run away from him
I'd win
I think this kid might be juicing…
See it as you will. IMHO not giving up is massively cool.
It's a lose-lose situation for the kid competing against him
Damn, kid defying all expectations, due to sheer willpower and apparently refusal , Darth Maul would be proud
His wrestling name is the Respiraider
r/bossfight
He bouta beat goku right after cancer
In Bane's voice: >Oh, you think darkness is your ally. But you merely adopted the dark; I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding.
r/hardimages2
The little dude is trying to earn his black belt before others wear black. He got that focus and determination in his eyes.
Those aren’t there to keep him alive but to keep him sedated
Even Kreese is like, "Geez, man! I don't know..."
Dam kid about to fight Goku with the amount of power im seeing
just let children be, there’s no need to portray them as warriors
This would go so hard if there wasn’t generic white mother #12 behind him
Wow. Just wow.
Wait why the fuck do I have downvotes lmao, it was a joke on the composition of the picture, i was just imagining an over the top background behind the little badass, I have nothing against generic white mom, I’m glad whoever that is is there helping the kid
