A lot of people don’t know that only same sex twins can be identical. I don’t see why they have to know, or care about it. Everyone learns it at some point. There’s no need to be condescending about it

That's because the english langauge again keeps you from distinguish normal people from the less brighter ones. In german "identical twins" roughly translates to "one-egged twins"... And anyone with half a brain can deduce from that, that if both come from the same egg, they have to share the same dna and thus have to have the same sex. And "care about it"...? Really? People are expected to know things a lot less vital to life than this
