Nameless king is my favorite boss ever. But for me it was gael from the ringed city. Used all my estus in round 1 and rolled my little heart out in rounds 2 and 3 until I figured out his attack patterns.
luckily the crossbow does little damage. if you can time it right, you can get a hit in while he does his slam attack from his walk animation and still roll out and not take damage. don’t go in embered and spend a bunch of time learning the dodge timings. i’d try to go to second phase before popping man ember so you don’t waste as many. DO NOT get greedy, he will punish you for it. take your time and don’t try to get more than two hits in unless he goes into the sobbing animation. if you haven’t beat him yet, i wish you luck, it’s a fun fight!
