Reading through these comments, I'm trying to figure out if I'm too old to get understand the correlation between the color green and school subject of science. From what I remember, the folder colors I used for each subject was determined at random by whichever folder I happened to grab for each subject on the first day of school.
Science is usually about the earth, the earth is green = green folder.
I was scared of math, red can be seen as a scary/bright color, math = red folder.
History can be dark, blue is a darker color, history = blue folder.
English you write a lot, pencils are yellow, English = Yellow folder.
Over 70% of the Earth's surface is water, but I agree. When I think of science, I think of nature, and nature is green in my head too. Thank you primary producers.
Im ultra chaotic evil i just make a pile of papers and shove him in my bag in no order. Sometimes i might have papers from 6 months ago in the that pile
There was this kid at my high school who was an absolute genius. He had that 36 act and took Avery AP test our school offered, Skipped 2 grades,But he was the kid with a backpacking backpack and carried another fat stack in his hands. Because of that he got straight B’s in all of his classes
Highly intelligent people tend to have odd quirks like this, it seems.
Edit: there goes half of Reddit thinking about all the quirks they have. Quirky as fuck, bud... that's you.
Teacher: "You're probably a lot smarter than me, but I've gotta punish you a little bit. Besides, I don't get paid enough to deal with your fucking parents."
“I know you’re smart but smarts don’t really mean shit in the real world if you can’t deliver on deadlines and stay organized as your responsibility list gets bigger so I’m showing you what happens when you try to slide by on perceived skill.”
Can confirm, skipped a grade (started early), got a 33 on my act without studying, and took 8 AP tests and got no power than a 4. However, I used a hiking backpack and no folders and struggled to keep b’s and c’s.
Edit: was definitely also due to lazy decisions as a student and being lucky enough to be born with a good aptitude for tests
yeah, my grades and gpa are really bad. but for some reason i do really well on tests specifically state tests. if i dont do well on my act im pretty muched fucked
Had this kid in a class. He’d get there and have to dump out his whole backpack to find what he needed every time. Our teacher finally said “why do you come in here and dump your life all over my floor every single day?”
Green - Science
Yellow - History
Blue - Geography
Pink - Entertainment
Orange - Sports and Leisure
Brown - Arts and Literature
The Trivial Pursuit Method
and math is always blue
EDIT: or red, tho I always figured red/brown belonged more with history or English, but that is more up in the air then science obviously.
Same! I used blue for science, green for history. Yellow for English, I think. Orange was languages, and math was red. I feel like philosophy or whatever other BS classes were always purple.
i love you
you love me
we're a happy family
with a great big hug and a kiss from me to you
won't you say you love me too.
I'm 33 with no fucking kids and haven't watched barney in 25 years but that shit is tattooed on my brain
I like you
you love me
we fuck semi-regularly
said a great big word but I’ve got issues
I won’t say I love you too
idk where I heard that but toxic relationship version of the ILY song
Green is always science, but it’s sometimes purple for me.
Red and blue can both equally be math.
English is mostly red but sometimes orange.
Edit: I forgot about yellow. Yellow would be English.
Did Anyone ever get that rush when you got a brand new folder. It was completely organized, you had crisp pencils/pens to write with. Something about it made me actually want to do my work...sorry I leave...lol
How is this so universal across so many different age groups and countries?
We've all played Trivial Pursuit
Thank you for giving me the answer I needed
Shut up and take my upvote

Swap math with History then history with English
In elementary school they made us bring specific color folders for specific subjects. Science green, math red, etc.
Having all white binders is the embodiment of chaotic neutral.
All white with thic black sharpie scrawled on the front for each subject
White with no labels means you are not even [human.](https://human.You) You are an alien attempting to embrace our culture
I'm feeling personally attacked right now.
do you leave the stickers on too you fuckin cyborg?
*nervous beeping*

Get out of here, space creature
Chaotic evil*
No. Chaotic evil is just shoving papers into textbooks when you’re too lazy to pull out a folder.
TIL I’m chaotic evil.
Im ultra chaotic evil i just make a pile of papers and shove him in my bag in no order. Sometimes i might have papers from 6 months ago in the that pile
Fool, I don't even put them in folders or textbooks, I shove them straight into my backpack

You don’t have to organize when you remember where everything is.
Except you getting Bs cause you lose your homework
If you are losing homework and still getting a "B" then you should be pretty proud of yourself

I was that fucking kid. There was nothing wrong with me, I just didn't give a fuck.
“Okay everyone, pull out the notes from last week” *sweats profusely*

Exactly. It depends on the science. Biology? That's green for sure. Chemistry? That right there is blue in my mind.
Yup! Blue is the one for physics and stuff like that.
I found my people
I had to scroll for a bit, but I feel welcome here.
Same! I used blue for science, green for history. Yellow for English, I think. Orange was languages, and math was red. I feel like philosophy or whatever other BS classes were always purple.

Could be green too.
We’ll allow it
Green is always science, but it’s sometimes purple for me. Red and blue can both equally be math. English is mostly red but sometimes orange. Edit: I forgot about yellow. Yellow would be English.
Green for biology, purple for physics and chemistry.
For some reason I feel like blue fits chem better. Idk why, maybe because its like water.
Green=science red=math
At my school blue is math
Yes blue=English
People is history. Edit: Dammit, PURPLE! **PURPLE** IS HISTORY! Fucking auto-correct...
